Dr. Johnson is the ONLY doctor you should see! My husband was experiencing excruciating pain in his shoulder and in his arm. He saw two other orthopedic doctors who wanted him to wait weeks for an MRI and then a shot. There was no way he could have waited. A friend who had surgery with Dr. Johnson suggested we call her right away. Dr. Johnson took one look at the MRI and knew what had to be done. She explained what would take place in great detail and handled everything. Within 2 days my husband had surgery and he is much better. He had three discs replaced and fusion. Dr. Johnson is an absolute rockstar!

I just saw Dr. Johnson today in the office. She is the best spine surgeon in Atlanta in my book. I went to her a few months ago in severe pain for over a year. I had seen other surgeons who couldn't find anything wrong me and sent me to pain management. My pain continued to get worse. My neighbor had surgery by Dr. Johnson last year with a similar issue and is now pain free and back golfing. Amazing!!! So, I made an appointment to see her. Her office staff was very caring and prompt in calling me back. Her PA Rick is wonderful! Dr. Johnson saw me herself on my first visit and spent over an hour with me discussing my problem and both surgical and non-surgical options in terms I could understand. She truly cares about her patients, which is rare to find in a surgeon in my opinion. I was scheduled for surgery, which went great!!! I am now pain free like my neighbor and have gotten my life back. She is superstar!!! I would highly recommend her to anyone considering neck or spine surgery.

No stars. The admin assistance for Dr Michele Johnson hung up on me before I could ask all my questions. I thank God for not letting me waste my time in this office. You keep that rude admin assistant and I’ll take my 2 spine surgeries, my money, and my good insurance to a more caring, compassionate office. My advise… go elsewhere. This is after I left a message a week ago for an appointment with no call back. I chose Emory Healthcare. They were very professional answering all my questions and scheduling my second opinion appointment. It’s not hard to be nice to people but as a business I would be alarmed that an admin assistant treated a patient with potential revenue for the business poorly.

Dr. M. Johnson is a Awesome surgeon ! I came to her at the end of 2018 . She told me what needed to happen which was lumbar infusion. Of course I didn't what to her that, and I tried to put it off as long as I could. She told me I would be back. And it was about 9 months later , my lower back was worse ,I walked with a limp . So I scheduled the surgery , and the rest is history. I felt so much better . I wish I would have done it earlier. But mentally I wasn't there yet, but I highly recommend her , no doubt ‼

ZERO STARS. I thought I would be getting a comprehensive exam of my spine, what I received was a talk strongly recommending that she perform surgery on my neck, even though I stressed to her many times that my issue was with my thoracic back. **Once she found out I was not interested in surgery, she became visibly uninterested in anything else I had to say. I asked if she could help with my thoracic back pain which she agreed was due to very large breasts & she quickly responded, “I can’t you help with that!” I asked her to recommend a plastic surgeon who could evaluate me & recommend me for surgery, she offhandedly mentioned, “There’s a plastic surgeon across the street.” She gave me a packet of information on neck surgery & told her receptionist to give me the information for the plastic surgeon. Her receptionist packing up for the day asked for my contact information & promised to call the next day with the information. It has been one month & 2 follow up calls since my appointment, & I have gotten no call. Needless to say, I will not be returning to her for ANY procedure & I certainly do not recommend anyone else see her either.

Great Doctor!!!! I’m Pain free now. I was in terrible pain, unbearable pain before Dr. Johnson.

She was a great surgeon but I was in extreme pain and she nor Joe, her PA, would call me back. It has been about two years now, I have lesions on my spine, and pain is excruciating and I don’t know who to go to. She handled my surgery and I don’t know why they would never call me back. I was their patient.

Really caring and gifted surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner. She never rushes through an exam and takes time to explain everything. I am very pleased with her.

Dr. Johnson gave me a pain free new life. Physically, i thought I was severely comprised for the rest of my life! Best of the Best! Jackson Moore
