Mickey Byrne's Irish Pub & Restaurant

An Irish Bar with the feel of being back in Ireland is a very difficult thing to find, especially in Florida but Mickey Byrne's Pub really nailed it. The Guinness is always cold, poured to perfection and served with a smile. The whiskey selection is one of the best I've seen anywhere in the States and any time I stop in there always seems to be a great Jameson promotion on with Jameson girls handing out free samples! ... The food is always on point, tastes super fresh and the portions are definitely on the large side.. I HIGHLY recommend the "curry fries" which are a real taste of an Irish favorite back home. Great place to watch a game too with the large projection screens.. The place is a little dark but it's nice to get in from the scorching sun now and again.. All in all this is a gem of an Irish Pub!

I came to this place since I live near the area and didn't want to go too far. It's located near Young Circle and they don't have private parking, street parking only. It can get difficult to find parking in the evening. It's a sports bar, so it's a casual place with plenty of televisions to watch whatever game is might be playing. I ordered their bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries on my first visit and it was a lot better than I expected. They're sweet potato fries were good and the regular fries were nice and crispy. I found the burger to be quite flavorful. The service was good and quick. Didn't have to wait long for our food. The place wasn't too busy on a Wednesday evening. On my second visit I ordered their version of the Big Mac to go. It was good but wasn't impressed, I still prefer the regular bacon cheeseburger. I would place their burger on the 3rd tier our of 4 together with Burgerfi and Five Guys.

Family friendly during the day, great place to hang out at night. This is my kind of place! Ate here once with the kids and it was a success. Tasty but not pricey, especially for downtown Hollywood. The staff are like friends- they make you feel comfortable, they joke with you, you get the sense that they honestly love being there. I make it a point to always stop here when I go to downtown Hollywood. This is my favorite place to grab a beer or whiskey and just laugh the night away.

Variety of beers! Amazing burgers! If you are reading this try the BIG Mickey!! It’s their version of the Big Mac, you won’t regret! Staff is super friendly and the place itself amazing as well. they give you free samples of beers to try something new! Restrooms are clean. I just have one funny photo of this place, to my vegetarian friends please don’t get mad, the photo is just funny lol

Love this place. Best selection of European beers in the area. Great staff, good food, usually crowded. Great place to watch sports, especially soccer, if you get there early enough. Did I mention the great beer and staff?
