Lets just start this with, you get what you pay for but even then the bare minimum is higher than what you will get here. First glance you think hmm, not bad for the price. Well they hide the mold problems by putting a piece of wood over it. Health issues anyone. Oh fridge problems, ok fix it, but wont replace the food they are required to replace, fine put that under cheap place to rent. Oh but then the fridge breaks 2 more times. Then send an email to move out asking about the process and a few other things. Reply to my other parts of the email BUT completely skip over giving my notice to move out. No big deal right, cause I'm mailing the notice anyway WRONG! They claim they never got the notice in the mail and its my fault for them looking over that part of the email and Im liable for 2 months extra unless they fill the apartment. Ok cool have a friend thats been down this road. 40 people are interested in the apartment. Trying to do the walk through. The manager Jessica White is an hour late and has been ignoring my phone calls but told the office 30 min ago she would be here in 3 min. This place is a joke! And a health hazard!
I drop the letter in your office and send email at the same time . I still waiting your company to reply and fix the issue.
I have rented from L and O apartments for 9 years now. In the beginning it was ok. 3 years no rent increases then the letter came that someone else took over and it has been all downhill from there. Rent increases at no less than $50 a year, there have been no updates whatsoever, the appliances are from the 1980's and when one makes a noise or falls apart it's no big deal to maintenance the garages went up in price, the apartments are kept so cold, our family has had to huddle into one room and their only solution is that they will help us put up plastic but they won't turn the heat up. The laundry room is never available and when asked about putting appliances like washer dryer or dishwasher in because we are long time renters and have insurance and would be willing to pay a fee the answer is a big no. With that said, we are now moving into our own home. We would have stayed but we can't deal with being taken advantage of any longer.
Do not rent anything this company owns. They just divert and dodge anything and everything that is a complaint. Went to the bluffs office to complain about my neighbor 2 or 3 months ago probably. Got told that they would send a notice to the whole wing. No notice was ever sent and the hallway still smells like smoke and I still get their cigarette butts on my side of the deck. I'm not saying that the landlords sucks.....but the landlords blow. The day's before we moved in Lori was complaining about the job that she took there the WHOLE TIME during our showings of apartments andapartments. That was a year ago btw. Definitely didn't have a good feeling about moving in there. Overall you're better off renting with a management company than this one. They just don't care as much as they will tell you they do. But they dont. They just want your money.
Do not rent from this company. They are crooks. The manager at Parkview Manor - Dulce asked us to move out early because the neighbor upstairs had recently been discovered dead and she saw us moving our stuff out. She promised through email that we would not be charged deposit and returned ou prorated rent back. They totally lied and charged us for damages and even kept our rent money for the whole month. We tried to resolve this with Management but they denied everything. Now were moving on to small claims. Again, do not rent from them. Especially at Parkview Manor. You will find Dulce is a lying *****! She represents the company and they are crooks! If I could give zero stars I would.
I lived at The Bluffs for 6.5 years. My experience is based on working in the housing industry and living at the property as a resident. The concerns I had and brought to Kris or Ana were handled in a prompt and professional manner. The few maintenance issues I had were quickly responded to and completed correctly. Living in the pet friendly part of the building, Al did a great job in making sure it was kept fresh and clean. Kris, thank you for making The Bluffs of Burnsville a community I was proud to come home to. I appreciate you and your team for creating a warm, welcome environment for me, my family and friends. I wish you All the very best!
Put in a work order a last week due to my observations that the ceilings started growing huge cracks...which made me concerned because I don't want my ceiling to fall in on my home. I was given a 2 DAY window for them to come in "between Thursday and Friday", no time frame...just 48 BIG hours. Got home from a third shift and they come in at 8:25am, knocking loudly. I come to find that they only painted over the cracks. Talked to building Manager Pam Cardenas about this. She offered no apologies or consideration for our schedules or the rude awakening outside of regular business hours-- even 9am would have been better! This is not the first time we've been intruded upon outside of regular hours for unnecessary things, as we have also been disturbed by building staff at 9:30pm due to the apt below having a busted water pipe-- which they obviously chose to check the third floor first for a first floor water leakage. Also, they like to contract lawn care-takers, regularly, to come at 7:30am at random times which include the weekends. This property is poorly managed, management are on their high horse and have no answers except generic responses...no empathy for people who have different schedules. No respect for people in their own apartments. Very intrusive and overly concerned about ridiculous things such as spending a load of money which they get from overcharging their long-term renters with no updates, despite the loyalty of renting for 5 yrs now on stupid things like....installing, repainting and washing their front sidewalk entrance to make it look like a polished backyard pool of a Vegas Resident's home...even though this is incredibly slippery to walk on when it rains and snows. I mean, obviously you can't find better things to improve about the building...obviously, just having 1 elevator from the 1960's that stinks and looks like a dungeon, for a complex that has over 100 units is more than enough. Management is very practical as you can see. Lots of other inconveniences such as the EXACT same half of the building...the Northern half of the apartment complex Everything North of the rental office always loses power during storms. No back up generator to help with the inconvenience....How about investing in one of those, just for the heck of safety?? There is always lots of loss for us due to food going bad and coming home to find out that power went out AGAIN...and AGAIN...and AGAIN...is a pretty darn great concern to have every time there is a storm. On the up side, I always have a rainy, candle-lit view of the neighbors on the south side outside of my window with their beautiful, modern electricity during storms.Thank you Wheelock Ridge Villa in St. Paul, Minnesota!
Absolutely fantastic! I did not have any problems during move in. I am still currently Living at Parkview manor and we are thinking about renewing our lease when the time comes! Management is just perfection. Very warm and welcoming. The community is quite and very clean. Very happy living here!
They do NOT take care of maintenance issues, I’ve had the very same complaint about a bathroom fan for over a year. It vibrates the whole floor of the apartment and seriously gives me migraines. 17th Ave. Flats in North Saint Paul. It’s true they do raise the rent, there is NO guest parking, NO privacy...you are being watched at all times, NO way to receive packages as there is no buzzer. I’ve been putting up with it for my kids schooling but I can’t take it anymore and actively looking to get out ASAP. The building is old, floors creak with every step. They recently painted the hallways prison grey...so depressing and gloomy.
I have lived in parkview Manor for 3 years..The management team is amazing!! My issues are resolved in a timely manner and My kiddos have a safe community thanks to the involvement and continued care and concern of our management. I love living here!!!
