Choose any other gas supplier available. MidAmerican is a bunch of crooks. They have a quarterly "connection fee", even if you aren't using any gas in spring and summer months. It's pretty sad if you can save money just by canceling your service. Strike 1 We moved out of Sioux Falls and got a bill sent to our forwarding address (you guessed it, for the connection fee between a warm April and May, and we had only gas for heat. Strike 2). The letter was very threatening and said that if payment wasn't received in 10 days (from the date the letter was sent) we would be referred to a collection agency. Very immature, and impersonal. Strike 3, you're out. Find another gas Co in the area. Competition will heat up, and for good reason.
