Middle Eastern Cafe

We are very spoiled on quality food having recently moved from New Orleans to Rome. I've been to this restaurant six or so times, and every time its been authentic, fresh ingredients, and even the prices are a bargain. I had the lamb chop plate the last couple of times and it was delicious both times. It was a real lamb chop and not some kind of processed meat like some similar places in town. Can't wait for the new place on Broad to open up, which should address the ambiance issue.

EXCELLENT food, very fresh, hot and delicious every visit. I love the beef kabob and long rice! The owners are also extremely nice, serving up smiles with food that is prepared with care.

My husband and I have heard great things about this little gem of a restaurant, so decided to try it. We pretty much ordered everything on the menu to try and enjoyed everything. My favorites were the beef kabobs and the lamb schwarma with their hand made bread. The pistachio cheesecake and ALL of the baklava we ate was delicious! But beyond the food, I loved the service with a smile. The business is run by a local family. We met the two brothers whom we conversated with and they talked to us about food, culture, their home, their family, their business. Their eyes lit up with everything. They are passionate about their restaurant and have worked very hard to make it a place for good food and good times! We will most assuredly be back! Just an FYI, they will be moving soon to Broad street which will make them even easier to find. So go visit!!!

The food is excellent. The atmosphere is not so great. You order at the counter and food is brought to the table and it really doesn't look or feel like a restaurant. GOOD NEWS THOUGHT... the owners said moving very soon to Broad Street and will be changing all of that.

First time eating this kind of food, it was an awesome experience. The food was great, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the owners were very nice. I had a wonderful experience. I will be back.
