We had dinner with a friend at the bar. It was a great experience! (A little loud, for having conversations, though.) The food situation is unconventional. You order as a group and then it's split up at the end of your meal. I got a Sad or Sorry Bastard -- I forget -- it was light and had a touch of spice from the ginger. Kind of dangerous because it was so easy to drink! Also had some wine and was able to enjoy it out on the patio.

Hands down the best restaurant in Lexington! You may not understand or may even be hesitant about the menu but everything is delicious. Make a reservation for an amazing dinner experience or simply grab a spot at the bar for some of the best food and craft cocktails in Lexington. During nice weather the patio offers an exclusive, more limited menu but is a great environment to enjoy a nice evening.

Amazing restaurant and bar in the most hipster setting imaginable! Ever changing menu, amazing wine and cocktail selection, with an intimate buzz. Watch the chefs sear over a fire, sit on super uncomfortable bench seating, and pay a hefty price for amazing food. Everything you could want, and more. In all honesty, the food and drink menu is fantastic. But the over-bearing industrial, recycled wood, beard oil feel of the place can be off-putting, especially after your butt is sore from some of the most uncomfortable seating. Lots of families and first dates make a trendy crowd, but with the recent influx of ultra lumber chic restaurants, you'll have a hard time distinguishing it from other similar restaurants. Nonetheless, our party loved it. Definitely bring friends so that you can share multiple amazing dishes.

We had reservations on Friday night at six PM. When we arrived our table was set up and ready to go. Our waitress said she was new but did an excellent job. We ordered off the special menu, our selection was the lamb. The meat portions is enough for two people, remember this! The lamb was cooked perfectly . We ordered a salad and the portion was very good, the salad was fresh and had a delicious dressing, not too spicy. The drink menu has selections for everyone. On weekends have reservations. The overall quality is very good and the price is worth the quality and quantity. We will go back and try the duck soon.

Very cool little area of Lexington with a lot of little food joints. We had no reservations and sat at the bar no problem. The bartender was friendly and made some great cocktails. Food was all great but heavy. Order less than you think you will need at this delicious small plate restaurant.
