These guys are awesome. Being a wedding photographer my equipment takes a beating and these guys are always there to help/repair. I've had more things than I can count be fixed here. They have even called on a Friday when parts have come in to see if I needed my equipment back before a wedding that weekend. Super accommodating and awesomely priced service. Def a rec!

The tallest guy standing behind the desk took my camera in hand move toward his work station and preceded to examine my camera. So i watched from a distance and notice him pushing a screwdriver down into battery holding slot, like 10 year old child would do out of mere inquisitiveness. Then he inserted his batteries and preceded to take my camera with him into another room from my view.
After this his brother return with camera in hand. Hand it to me without no explanation or comment to my inquiry of the cameras problem. As I specifically asked them to examine/ troubleshoot it regarding whether or not it still work. His brother simple asked for his batteries very anxiously and crassly and never responded to my issue. I'm NOT at all satisfied. In fact, I believe He intentionally broke it. It happened so quickly I wasn't able to stop what he was doing.
A PROFESSIONAL examines with patience and with reasonable courtesy, by informing the potential customer what if anything, they will be doing to your product before any tools are put to service. Just the mere fact that my camera was handed back to me by the other worker as he was only steps away from me and neither gave an explanation to my initial inquiry was disconcerting. All he had to do was help me to locate the battery entrance. Because I wasn't able to locate it. They took advantage of a Senior citizen, that's their crime!! For this I give this business a ( - 0).

In a world of throwaway electronics, it nice to have a place nearby that can repair camera gear. They repaired a dropped point-and-shoot for us on one occasion for much less than it would be to buy a new one. More recently, I bought a used Canon 7D from them for what was a very reasonable price, and they have been happy to stand behind it (although all it's ever needed was a sensor cleaning once).

The Fortin brothers are the best camera repair guys on the east coast, maybe even the nation. Quick service. Incredibly knowledgeable.

These guys are AMAZING! They were able to bring my Nikon D90 back to life. The catamaran I was on got unexpectedly hit by a tremendous rogue wave. (It made it up to the cockpit!) I was absolutely soaked and my camera had salt water in EVERY nook and cranny. I thought it was a lost cause. They took it apart, cleaned it up and it is back in rotation, working perfectly. 🤗
Pricing is very reasonable. The fix above was mid-$200s. Much better than the thousand to get a new camera body. Evaluation and estimates are free, so you can make an informed decision before investing in a fix.
They know their limitations and if they can't fix it in-house, they check if you want to send it to the manufacturer for an estimate before moving forward.
