Great experience at Midway Ford - I worked with Tom and Charlie. They were very trustworthy, treated me with respect, and got me the best deal possible. The process to get my new Bronco took a while something out of their control but once it arrived to Midway Ford, I was able to pick it up that very day. The entire process to pick up my new vehicle took less than 2 hours. Very satisfied with my new vehicle and with the service I received at Midway Ford. Go see them for a new car!!
Where to begin. I have been a loyal purchasing and service customer for ten years. If I could give negative stars on this rating I would. My 2013 Ford Escape which I purchased here was towed from Minneapolis last November from when it broke down. The vehicle spewed oil and died. Midway Ford wanted several hundred dollars to diagnose the issue. They said it was clear without having to do that that the engine was dead. They also said this was a known issue with this make and model. We thought it was possible that we had hit something on the freeway. And so we went ahead and filed an insurance claim. Midway Ford discarded the rubber part underneath the car that would have been hit. They didn’t ask us. They knew we were filing a claim. The insurance adjuster had nothing to look at and the service folks denied that they said this was a common problem with this vehicle. In addition they told the insurance adjuster that it was actually our fault and likely we hadn’t put oil in the car. This is completely absurd as the rubber part that they threw away was filled with oil and we get the oil changed regularly. The service folks offered to find someone who might want to purchase the vehicle. That was the last we heard from anyone. Over twenty calls later, seven months have passed. We even went to the dealership in person and drove around the lot trying to find our car so we could have it towed home. In the meantime I had secured a buyer for the car even though it was dead. They offered me $2,500. Finally someone called us back and said the owner had our car towed two months earlier - but they didn’t know where. We waited three more days to find out where they towed our car to. Then they told us - you have 24 hours to pick it up. So after seven months of ignoring our calls, towing our car, screwing our insurance claim — they demand we pick up our car within a small windows of time from a place they had it towed. So we get the car and they have done severe damage to the outside of the car. Either Midway Ford or the people they hired to tow it. Now I can’t even sell it to the person who was going to buy it even though it was dead. I continue to call the service department who does not answer the phone. Finally I left a message with someone in sales. I am waiting to hear back. However even if they apologize at this point I cannot understand how all of this could have possibly happened. I called three times and talk to the receptionist and asked to talk to the owner of Midway Ford. The receptionist said to me they didn’t know who the owner was. Clearly this place has gone totally downhill.
I am so appreciative of the person I spoke with when I first dropped off my car. My issues were not as serious as I had thought. He was extremely helpful and honest. I would definitely trust my vehicle to Midway Ford. Check-in was easy and convenient and all the staff I had contact with were great!
After spending about $3000 trying to fix an issue with my vehicle at another shop and never actually fixing the issue after a year of multiple appointments!!, I brought my vehicle to Midway Ford. They diagnosed the problem quickly and correctly, replaced the part I needed, and communicated openly. My vehicle is working wonderfully and was completed in a day and a half. Bonus? It cost ~$100 less than the original quote! I have found my new shop! Thank you, Midway Ford!
They worked with my husband and daughter-in-law for her first car. The car experienced issues after we took delivery, and they went above and beyond to make it right. NEVER would have expected this from a car dealership. Would not hesitate to purchase from them in the future. Ask for Mike Fitzgerald; he'll take care of you.
My experience was great! Jim and the service team got me in earlier than expected. The diesel mechanic Dan was very knowledgeable and fixed my truck right the first time. I left a soda in my cup holder and it exploded from cold temperatures, they were able to get my truck in for a detailing before I even picked it up. Thanks for the awesome experience and clean truck!! I will definitely refer my friends and family. A+++
Having worked with Charlie Gillespie at Midway Ford before I was expecting great service and I was not disappointed. My Bronco was a long time coming but Charlie kept me updated thorough out the process. When my vehicle did arrive Charlie made sure I knew all about the operation of my Bronco. Midway Ford went out of their way to make it an exceptional experience. Thanks Charlie and Midway Ford..
I scheduled an appointment to get my vehicle serviced 2 weeks ahead of time. Dropped my vehicle off and had to call them to get an update. Was told it would be at least 2-3 days before they could even look at the vehicle! This wasn’t communicated when I made the appointment. Seems like they have a very poor handle on scheduling. If you need timely service with good communication steer clear.
I bought my truck here and thought everyone one was great at Midway Ford. Trevor was my salesman and I also spoke to Travis in the service department because I had a follow up question with my vehicle. Both guys were very professional, friendly and knew what they were doing. The truck runs great and no complaints, thanks!!!
An excellent experience all around. No pressure, just friendly service that was above and beyond. Charlie helped me navigate the various options of trim and styling available for the ford explorer. I test drove multiple vehicles and found the perfect one. I could not be happier that I stopped into Midway Ford!
