Chef Paul was fantastic!!! A consumate professional and a pleasure be around. He lays out the class right at the beginning so you know exactly what to expect and provides so many incredible insights into the culinary world throughout the experience. You get exactly what you've paid for and more: an amazing meal, an amazing time, tips and tricks, and some recipes and leftovers to take home! Highly recommended for total beginners, like myself and my wife!
Chef Paul is a phenomenal instructor who clearly knows his stuff. He's funny, attentive, and welcoming. Gave his Knife Skills 101 class to my partner for Christmas, and we both had a phenomenal time, and will absolutely consider taking another class here.
Chef Paul is wonderful! This was my first time taking a cooking class and it was so much fun and informative. Chef Paul is very friendly, funny, and a great teacher. The space is lovely. Everything was delicious!! Highly recommend.
We had such a fun time at our cooking class. The chefs were friendly, hilarious, and taught us all a lot about cooking. They also made sure everyone in our group had a job to do so no one was left standing around. The food was delicious!
The Knife Skills class with Chef Paul is an amazing authentic experience. Fun entertaining time mixed with passion & thoughtful technique that I’ve brought to my own kitchen. Looking to take more classes from here in the future. Highly recommend for couples or groups - Chef Paul will make it worth your while.
I hosted a team-building/social event at Miette and it was perfect! The team raved about the experience AND the food. We had a handful of food allergies and they handled them expertly. Thank you for making this such a success!
My Wife and I took the Knife Skills class with Chef Paul. He is so welcoming and passionate at teaching you to be the best chef you can possible be. He teaches how to roast properly and the meal we put together is just amazing. Pleasure to have met him and can't wait to be back in his kitchen again.
I took the Knife Skills class with Chef Paul on a rainy Sunday afternoon and had the time of my life. He is a wonderful, passionate teacher and the space was beautiful and well-equipped. My fellow students were a joy to work with and we ended the class with a delicious 3-course meal that we ourselves lovingly prepared! I highly recommend this class for anyone who wants to learn the basics of preparing a well-rounded meal from prep to service. I'm very much looking forward to taking another great class with Chef Paul!
This May 2019, I hosted a 50th birthday party for my vegetarian godchild. We were a group of eight and we had a fabulous experience with Chef Paul and his staff. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere friendly and accommodating. All who attended were extremely pleased and well fed. We enjoyed cooking alongside Chef Paul and picked up many pointers. We heartily recommend Miette and Chef Paul.
I took a Japanese class where we made everything on this plate. We made dumplings pork base, crab rolls, Tuna rolls, Vegetable tempura, and Matcha ice cream. We got to make it all then try to eat it all! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and the crab meat was 100% crab. The instructor was great and did not waste any time lecturing us. He was straight to the point giving us the maximum time to make our food. His instructions were clear and easy. You can see I need work, but it was a great experience! I would suggest it!
