Story

Mikey Likes It Ice Cream combines the best, locally sourced ingredients from New York to create a product that is new, refreshing and unlike any other in today's food industry. A few flavors that Mikey will be introducing to your taste buds are: Ice Ice Baby (Mikey's Signature triple vanilla), Southern Hospitality (pecan pie ice cream, praline pecans, crushed homemade pecan pie), Jack & Jill (crunchy peanut butter ice cream and strawberry preserves), Pretty In Pink (Mikey's Signature strawberry ice cream with balsamic vinegar macerated strawberries), Mint Condition (fresh mint ice cream with triple chocolate fudge brownies) and Cool Runnings (fresh coconut ice cream with fresh coconut shavings and milk and dark chocolate-covered almonds). Mikey explains, "We're just trying to push the boundaries of what companies are doing with ice cream, while building lasting relationships with local business owners, entrepreneurs and other great people." Aside from our seasonal rotation of delectable flavors, we offer customized flavors: you name it, we’ll make it. In addition to providing rich and delicious dessert, our customers get an opportunity to improve the life of inner-city youth, beginning with New York and eventually expanding to other states. We donate a portion of every purchase to local schools. This will help the schools facilitate educational and recreational trips on a more frequent basis. These trips will cover a range of topics and help the children explore their limitless options. Mikey measures a man’s success not by how much he makes but by how much he gives. He has made it a point to give back and to help strengthen the community by using the ice cream as a tool of positive reinforcement.

Mission

With a mission to spread happiness and create childhood memories one scoop at a time, Mikey Likes It Ice Cream makes homemade artisan, organic and all-natural ice cream that is made in small batches to maintain optimal freshness. Upon request, all varieties of our creamy, decadent and flavorful ice cream can also be prepared in lactose-free, vegan, gluten-free or low-sugar/no sugar alternatives to satisfy special dietary needs.
