The gentleman here were patient and kind while we stood aside and navigated through our options. The product itself was good. I got the cereal milk soft serve with the cornflakes topping that they put above and below the icecream so that you get some in every bite.
I got the soft serve cereal milk with hot fudge and it was ok. I’ve had better. My friend had it with the cinnamon French toast which was better. They did run out of the cornflake .
loved the famous cereal milk icecream. Staff is kind. The place is not clean at all + only have two seats outside so you can eat there.
the staff is great. the product is a bit underwhelming compared to how amazing i felt it was when it opened. the peanut butter flavor wasn't robust and kinda fell flat on the palate after every bite. cereal milk really did set the bar kinda high but it seems the company has just been lacking to keep up since
The soft serve was delicious but the corn flakes were a little too savory. I noticed that the price had increased since last year. For the amount of ice cream you get compared to the price..adjustments should be made..
Their desserts are on the really sweet side. I got the milk bar pie and a slice of cake both for Autumn limited flavor. Pumpkin milk bar pie was really gooey, thick, intense and slightly chewy. It was good but really sweet, so I’m glad that I got the pumpkin flavor.. spices saved the taste. And so did the apple cider doughnut cake, sweeeert. The texture was more like a crumbled muffin tbh, not a soft, “sponge-like” cake. Plus, somehow kinda pricy!
The fresh sample cookie they gave was by far and away better than the cookies I actually bought. A bit turned off by the prepackaged delivery but hey they gotta pump them out to stay alive in a hip spot like Willburg. Flavors are unique but cookies seemed on the dry side. Worth a try for but maybe just once…
A fun spot and great to cross off the Places To Eat list while in NY. We went near to close and our slice of bday cake was still moist and seemed fresh. It's of course a little pricey but it's still worth the visit. The milk bar pie was super sweet but delicious. The soft serve with corn flakes was bomb. The girl at the window was so sweet and helpful. I enjoyed the entire visit.
I want to like this place but my taste buds refuse. I had to tell the representative order three times because she was too interested with her phone. They forgot to give me my waters. The inside is so small and very crowded. The ice cream is not good neither are the cookies and it is so expensive. There are so many better options.
Thanks to the staff at Milk Bar Williamsburg, for a delightful birthday experience this afternoon! Additionally, thank you to their outside vendor DoorDash who delivered precisely on-time, with every item in ideal condition and delicious as always. My son lives in Brooklyn and I'm out of town and wanted to be sure to send him some good birthday lovin' from his favorite place in town. It was a seamless transaction, ordering a number of goodies online the night before, including a gorgeous birthday cake festooned with truffles. The 6” layered cake is far larger - much deeper - than I realized, so unless you’re ordering for a crowd, that size will easily feed 8-10. My son remarked that he and his girlfriend will be enjoying it for the rest of the week! In addition to the freshly-baked cake, I included some other yummy favs including ice cream cups and pints as well, and a "birthday-in-a-bag" which included confetti, candles & matches, a birthday crown, and a festive banner to decorate...overall an incredible way to say Happy Birthday from afar...and last minute, too! I highly recommend the folks at the Milk Bar WIlliamsburg location for doing such a wonderful job in putting together this delectable birthday surprise...many thanks...I know that I'll be returning again soon for future celebrations!
