Amazing galettes de rois! Get your handheld vacuum ready because the flakiness is out of this world. Baked just right with buttery goodness between each layer. The pistachio galette wasn’t overwhelming in flavor that’s good!!but rather gave a reserved, nutty taste. Good for those who want to try something new but don’t want to stray too much from the classic. It was the classic that had a very slight citrusy zang to it that complimented the frangipane quite well. This year was the first time in 3 years that I didn’t have the ability to be in France for January’s galette de rois tradition. These galettes are just like the ones I had à l’hexagone. Brought back wonderful memories. Worth the spurge; it’s probably one of the few actual traditional galettes available for purchase in NYC that is made by an actual French baker. Also the head baker is lovely and it was nice to speak to him in French.

I recently reached out to Pistache NYC with a very last-minute request, and I must say they exceeded my expectations in every way. Ordered the pear tartes bourdaloue for Thanksgiving. The tartes were great. The pears were not overly sweet, but were still delicious. The owner was very accommodating in getting it done in time and picked up. Over all, a++. Experience.

We went for new years eve. Spent over 800$, even with the fix menu of $200 per person. They added the pasta black truffle for an additional $45. The first serving was duck liver, the second serving was scallops in which we got one scallop each, third serving was brisket with no vegetables, and the last serving was dessert. Such a total rip off!!!

I had to write about Pistache NY because I have never ever met someone as incredible as Yvan Bedouet. I was planning to have Pistache NYC cater my New Year's Eve party since he came so so highly recommended. I spoke to Yvan multiple times with many changes, where he had to draw up new menus which he did without any objection. It turned out I had to cancel due to medical reasons. He was so gracious, not only refunded all the money although I had insisted he keep a portion since I had to cancel, HE ASKED FOR MY ADDRESS AND DROPPED OFF A BOUCHE NOEL!!!!! I am in awe of Pistache NYC and Yvan Bedouet and can not wait to have them cater my next party. Thank you

Pistache is the best French bakery in New York! Savory and sweet, from the galettes to the quiches I have had them all!. So fresh - baked daily in their Brooklyn kitchen. They clearly care about the quality and provide excellent service every time. You will never be disappointed.

I highly recommend Pistache! You can’t go wrong with any of their cakes! The Paris-Brest is to die for and their King Cake is the best I had in NYC - even better than in many Parisian bakeries!

Best French bakery in New York. You can order any cake you want. After trying a lot of King’s cake I can definitely say they have the best one in town !
