They are amazing!!! All the stuff was very nice and caring to my two dogs. My baby Roco had a terminal disease, and Dr Burton took care of him all the way to his passing. She also clearly explained to me every step of the treatment pros/cons. I feel so comfortable on having Rita in their hands. I have been in taking them to other clinics before with negative experiences. Millcreek clinic has been the best, 100% recommended.
If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! We have been working with them for the last 4 months to figure out what is wrong with our dog and they have been so supportive and helpful definitely cried in their office a few times. After being brushed off by a previous vet these guys jumped right in and gave us a plan for testing. Every time I brought our other dog in they asked how our sick dog was doing and staff has been beyond amazing! Honestly could not have done these last few months without such an amazing staff! If you need a new vet I would recommend these guys a million times and over!
Issues always seem to come up on the weekends, don't they? Thank goodness there is finally a middle-ground solution for pet owners who need to be seen ASAP on a weekend, but do not have a life-threatening emergency. My usual vet quoted 2 weeks before I could get in and the emergency room with the "shortest" wait time quoted 8-9 hours before my pet would be seen. Their weekend clinic is first come, first served and they ended up having a more critical patient come in, so my wait time was probably longer than their normal wait, but it was still only about 2-2.5 hours to be seen. That's a huge difference from what it would have been at the ER! Even though they were busy, the doctor was very kind and answered all my questions and she didn't try to upsell or order any unnecessary tests. She also provided a lot of reassurance. Plus, it saved a lot of the money it would have cost to go to the ER for a concerning, but non-emergency matter. Additionally, when they do intake a more critical case, they can stabilize the patient and transfer them over, which can save lives. Thank goodness for this service you are providing to the community in a much-needed gap. It frees up space at the ER for critical cases, while urgent ones are still being seen in a timely manner. I am so glad I heard about this! I hope it continues far into the future because this is something the community desperately needs. Thank you to the team for giving up your weekends to help pet owners like me!
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Burton and the clinic. They took great care of my cats, and were so kind when I had to let my 17 year old cat go. I recommend them to every pet owner!
They charge double for ear cultures compared to other vets. They charge you 20 to 30 dollars more for just the appointment than other vets as well. They are very good to the animals but not always good about following up when you explain your dogs not responding to treatment. We had the unfortunate experience where our service dog has now a ruptured ear drum after calling and telling them his ear wasn't clearing up and they just had us put more meds in his ear with no appointment, till we told them he needed to be looked at again. Then gladly charged us another several hundred dollars after already charging my daughter over 400 the first time. If he had been looked at more closely, and they paid attention. He should not have had a ruptured ear drum. So expect to pay a lot out of pocket and not be told ahead of time how much they're going to charge you. They also told us they didn't take care credit when my daughter asked then after our credit cards were charged, told us oh yes we do take care credit.
Do not bring your kitty here, they are not knowledgeable about kitty health. I took my sick senior here and they treated him as if he was a healthy boy. I had to request a special blood test for pancreatitis and the vet acted as if there would be no way he could have that. Turns out he did. Zero treatment was offered, I had to request it after my own research. No diet suggestions were offered until I asked. Zero guidance. He died 4 days later.
Dr. Nazzaro & her team were amazing!! my dog developed hives throughout the day while i was working and i had to wait until the morning to call to get him into a vet. all the other vets had 2 week waiting period before my dog could be seen. i called millcreek veterinary clinic and they said their schedule was full but they could squeeze him in. got my dog in & treated all within the hour that i called ! everyone that i interacted with was very nice and they were so good with my dog. my dogs hives have gone down and he seems much more comfortable! grateful for millcreek veterinary clinic! <3
I cannot recommend Millcreek Vet higher! We adopted a puppy and she has some GI issues. Millcreek Vet, Dr. Burton and all of their staff have been so incredibly kind and helpful through this whole process. They made sure we understood what was happening, and the costs associated with her treatment. They always give great follow up calls to make sure our dog is doing ok, and that we have what we need. Seriously amazing!!!
They have been taking care of my Darla since I've rescued her. The staff are very friendly and helpful and understands my concerns about her treatment and care. I'll recommend this office for your pet care
First time seeing Dr. Anderson, I was very impressed with him, he was through, very personable and knowledgeable. You can bet I will take my dog back when needed. I was very pleased with all the staff too. Thanks
