My doctor left MINCEP and there was no effort to contact me. It is incredibly disappointing that MINCEP does not exercise this degree of professional courtesy--I paid for higher quality care and a personalized relationship yet once again MINCEP falls through. This is compounded by the fact that following my diagnosis, I was told that my driver's license was temporarily suspended for 6 months which in reality turned out to only be three months. However, there was once again no effort to contact me, so I went an extra 3 months without driving and upon calling MINCEP to schedule an appointment for clearing my suspension, I was notified that in fact I had been needlessly waiting for 3 extra months.

I have been going to mincep for years since I was a teen. There are some good doctor's there and not to much good ones but that's everywhere. They have helped me in lots of ways and most of them became like family cause I was in and out of the hospital so much. I'm finally going back to see what more they can do for me since mayo doesn't seem to care as much like mincep dose. :)

I am able to relate to the previous review. My MINCEP doctor left the practice and MINCEP did not inform me until I arrived for an appointment. I was fond of the doc and very surpirsed learning of his departure. I had to insist an appt with a doc and not the PA since I wanted to establish a relationship with a new person. The receptionist and appt scheduler are rude and not "customer friendly - much leass patient friendly, I did report one to the office manager. The service is not patient friendly. I am never asked when I am available but sent a letter informing me of the appointment. I chose MINCEP because of its reputation, and will most likely look for a different neurologist..

Good isn't exactly what I would say tto describe my experience...ok is more like it. I got referred by my Sanford neurologist, spent a couple weeks. To get watched, and evaluated and such, being admitted to the hospital for a week to do so...lost money from not working, got far behind on bills, stull no idea why I have seizures. At mincep the nurses were nice, the check in people were ok, the eeg techs were great, but my neurologist was not personable at all, couldn't understand her well, she couldn't seem to understand me very well. Also the way she was acting, talking, abd the tone she had...I felt like she was kind of judging me. I wish the nurse that was the one I saw and explained epilepsy to me and my husband was the neurologist. She was very kind.
