It was okay. The appetizers were good but the pho broth was a little bland. Nothing to really write home about. We were in the mood for Vietnamese but it didn't impress. Restaurant was nice and clean though. Food can be better.
Go to eat before check out these picture. The manager said: “you can find cockroaches at every DC’s restaurant.” He seems feel normal for the fried cockroach. I even thought this was in the menu. He refused to discharge this cockroach meal. We paid around 30 dollars for this cockroach meal.
It's OK. Portion size is extremely small and relatively expensive. Taste good though.
Lovely place! Only one pho dish, but it was delicious
Very good authentic Vietnamese food! The serving of the dish is generous yet reasonably priced. We tried their signature Pho beef soup with rice noodles and the combination fried rice with shrimp, chicken and beef which are a big hit. We concluded our lunch with coconut ice cream. We are very satisfied! We are coming back!
Expectations were high after seeing 4 of 5 stars. I was not impressed. Rather, I was disappointed. Having eaten all across the world and the USA and a cook myself, I found the #6 lunch menu item La Cay noodles overcooked and soaked. The beef was tough and there were only 2 shrimp pieces in the entree. The caramel pork was over seasoned with black pepper and tasted more light ketchup mixed with sugar than a caramelized sauce. Pho was served with no lime as lemon only is available. Overall my experience was standard at best.
Worst chicken curry I have ever had, anywhere, in the world. I asked for extra spicy and they put two slices of jalapeno on the dish. The curry was so bland and gooey, definitely not made with coconut milk and the potatoes tasted like they had been fried before being added to the soup. There were awards posted at the entry from 20 years ago! 1997-98....might be time to take them down.
I recommend Ha Noi grilled pork and Caramel Salmon here. I tried them, and they were very tasty. The service here was good too. The servers were attentive. Beyond my expectation. They deserve 5 stars from me. :
Came here with a group of 10 around dinner time and they were able to seat us immediately, nor did they mess up the checks! Shrimp curry and Thai iced tea is delicious. Very friendly staff and great service!!!
This is the first time I’ve had cold spring rolls with fresh, warm shrimp. Usually most Vietnamese restaurants serve pre-made rolls from the fridge. I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken pho was also very good. An easy 5 stars.
