Mister Bagel

Went to Mister Bagel just before noon on a Sunday. I wanted to buy a half dozen or a dozen bagels. After waiting in line, I was told that there would be no “bulk” sales of bagels - not even three bagels. I could only purchase a sandwich. Waste of my time. As the guy in line behind me said, Mister Bagel is a bagel store that won’t sell bagels. Well, they don’t have to worry about selling me bagels. I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

Bagels did not taste fresh. To qoute someone in our party 'the most tasteless bagel ever'. The bathroom did not feel clean. This was a unisex bathroom with a urinal and a toilet, and the previous slob left the urinal full of pee. Warning: the soap dispenser shoots soap out not down. It landed on my clothing and not my hands and probably explains the wet floor. Well, this is what I am telling myself.

I'd recommend that you go there with two items in mine because it seems they are always out of my first choice.

Love Mr. Bagel! The bagels are great and their tofu cream cheese is amazing! I do wish they had egg bagels but these are not common in Maine.

Different selection of a few things than the Yarmouth location, which was strange, but still good stuff.
