Mocean Skate and Surf

My sons were nervous about buying new skateboards but the guys at the store were super cool. My boys have had lots of compliments on their boards at the skateparks! Thanks Mocean!

It was a treat going there, everyone is so nice and chill and was my first skate shop experience and they made it so enjoyable! Prices are high but the quality is amazing, this shop alone got me into customizing skateboard decks! Plus it’s right on the beach side and offer surf lessons and other surfing needs. Went in, had my toddler with me. Got a shop deck, indys, reds and some satoris. Dude set it up in a flash; much appreciated. Feels good to support these guys. Go in and do it-you’ll get it.

Super sick local spot. I stopped in a couple years ago and would definitely go back given the chance. Tons of local art and music, the shop looks like a museum. I ended up following them on Instagram and got a hoodie and button down shirt a while back. Still my favorite hoodie, seems like a dope crew too. @brancatophotography for more flicks lol

The two folks working on Saturday, 10/09/21 we're awesome. I live in East Boston, and will probably only make skating related purchases while in Portland.

A fairly small selection of boards and apparel but the guy who helped me was very knowledgeable. I didn't leave empty handed.

costumer service was terrible. i went in to get a new board and the dude helping me was extremely rude. too into skate culture to remember he is running a business. his attitude turned me off from purchasing anything. never had a worker make me leave a store empty handed when i specifically went there to get something.

Great skateshop! Good selection, the two guys working there were super rad, and I plan to exclusively use them as my source of skateboards from now on. I've been skating since 1989, and after chatting with the two guys working, I am wicked stoked to get back into skating again after taking a couple years off from it.

I went into Mocean on Exchange Street today and worked with Jasper the owner. I have never skateboarded before in my life besides for trying for about a month when I was roughly 12, I explained I had no experience and didn’t know what I was looking for in a board. He took the time to explain to me what was good for beginners and had me try a bunch of decks and see what was comfortable and what felt good to stand on. He helped me with the setup of everything and got me a custom setup for a very reasonable price. Will definitely be going to Mocean for all my skating needs from this point forward!

These guys are great! Super friendly, helpful, motivated.....we called 5 min before closing and not only did they stay open for us but they also set my daughter up with a sweet board for Christmas, while we looked at their art and other random cool shit Funky space, local art, awesome local business.
