Mocha Express

We don't automatically think of 82nd Avenue as a typical coffee shop "spot"....but Mocha Express turns out to be an awesome place to go. I love everything about this place. It's super spacious, very clean and the staff is friendly. Every drink I've ordered has been exactly right. There are a few things that make it unique...like how they sell sunglasses I bought some with my order one time....and they have some wonderfully old funky rolling chairs. extra comfortable. It's a great place to read, work, visit or think.

Went here 2 years ago for a date and the date didn't work out but the coffee was delicious! Recently went again and got an iced coffee with cream and sugar and it was SO GOOD! Great iced coffee is hard to find and when you do it's heavenly. The almond Danish was also super tasty. Some jerk cut me off as I was driving to work but I took another sip and my spirits were lifted again

Chairs are comfy. Nice location right by the college. Ordered regular coffee - tasted like used tea bags. Honestly, the McDics $1 coffee taste refined and sophisticated compared to this sorry colored water. First time here, and will be lasted time.

Mocha express is my FAVORITE coffee shop, I go at least once a week to treat myself. Everyone is always so nice and hardworking. You cannot beat the pricing for the quality and quantity. The drive thru is super convenient and truly I hardly EVER have to wait. Please give this coffee shop a try if you haven’t! : My fav: a mocha, add lavender! Their blueberry muffins are yummy too.

Very disappointed went in and ordered a eagle vision shake with peanut butter 24 oz paid $8.75 not a drop of coffee in it if you total up the total price $750 for the shake 50 cents for the coffee and 50 cents for peanut butter that comes to $8.50 where are the quarter comes in I don't know but I've been screwed again so this is the last time I'll ever frequent your business. Only gave you one star because it's required to give you a review.

Just a little place I noticed for the first time and went in to get me a smoothie through the drive-thru. He actually made it in front of me with real fruit. They had a 52 Oz smoothie I've never seen one but I had to have one pretty good place.

This place is amazing!! Their building is so welcoming and cozy inside and the workers are so welcoming, kind, and respectful! My drink was also amazing and wasn't too hot!!

The most comfortable café for studying and doing work. The Mocha Express café became known to me through Google maps, and being so close to the South East Portland Community College campus, I was curious to experience this place. The Mocha Express café is not just a café, it's designed to be a destination for social gathering, studying, and work, and you will find yourself spending hours here. Rather than a modern café asthetic, Mocha Express aims for comfort and relaxation, offering couch seating near the fire place, several tables for one on one conversation, and sections by the sides for private studying or work, including 2 computers with high-speed internet. Located at the heart of the 2 storie building is the register where the kind staff greet you and takes your order. They offer name brand snacks and fresh pastries to enjoy with a hot or cold coffee, boba tea, or other fruity drinks. I just discovered this café and it will be my go to study café for the rest of my time in Portland.

Coffee was not good and neither was the Boba. Everything was just a bit off and had no flavor. Coffee was also burnt, no good. Not recommended at least for Boba or coffee. It might be a good meeting spot, its open, and has lots of seating, I just recommend trying something else... I get the vibe that its a mediocre jack of all trades master of none situation.
