Always exceptional customer service and stylist quality that far outshines anyone in town! Their products are amazing and they use very high-quality things to give you the best possible service without breaking the bank. Mataya is an absolute artist who can create anything AND teach you how to style it yourself at home so it looks just as good as when you step out of her chair! The best possible stylist and the best salon for any service you would ever need.

They always get me in last minute. I'm pretty easy to please as far as hair goes, and I've had good experiences. I waish they had a little more comfortable items. For example, there are very few chairs for waiting. There's also nowhere to set or hand your purse at the stylist stations. Just a couple suggestions, but overall I always recommend them.

I had my hair and makeup done for my wedding. The makeup was very plain and I noticed streaks when I went outside into natural light. The hair was much worse. It looked like a tangled ratted mess. What curl I had fell out by the time I made it to my wedding (10 min), And all that was left was a hard clump of ratted hair. When I went up to the receptionist to pay you could see on her face she thought it looked terrible. They charged me $200. It was the biggest waste if money. I absolutely could have done a better job myself and I wish I would have. Do not go to this salon for wedding services.

This was my second time at Mod Hair Salon. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and I immediately felt welcomed. I was excited to take the next step toward achieving my desired hair style.
After all, I had endured four plus months of growing out my hair just to get a new, fresh look, different from my usual short pixie layered cut. I even had pictures of hair styles to show ideas of what I was wanting. My new stylist, Katrina really listened to me and was honest in letting me know my hair needed to grow a bit more to get where I wanted it to be. So we agreed on a plan to start the process. I was not only pleased with the outcome but more importantly felt assured knowing Katrina got it right.
I was so elated that I showed off my new do by going out to dinner and even changed my Facebook profile. But all that changed when I returned four weeks later ; and met again with Katrina to take the next step in the process. It seemed my hair style didn't look the same as what I had experienced the last time. I couldn't quite tell for sure until I got home and checked it out more closely in my bathroom mirror. My hair was now much shorter and layered cut, not at alI how it looked when came in for my appointment. It certainly was nothing like the asymmetrical and longer length style I had wanted, no, planned for and saw come to life just 4 weeks before.
I couldn't understand what went wrong. I called the office to leave a message for Katrina explaining she cut my hair shorter and layered, not at all what we had agreed upon. I also re-scheduled my 4 weeks appointment to 6 weeks to allow my hair to grow out more. So now I guess I have to start the process all over again. So bummed out! I hate to complain. I really liked my previous experience and Katrina.
