Went in for a simple Dominic pizza. When the girl finished adding the toppings i asked her if she could put sausage on there, as it is a standard topping for that pizza. She point to the pizza and said “its on there” and then sent it down the line. Im not sure how someone can look at an uncooked pizza with no meat on it and try to convince me there was sausage. Honestly it was such a strange interaction, i won’t be back. I am still scratching my head.
Don’t know if it was our ordering or what, but we both felt the pizza was not as good as usual…kinda bland. Plus they didn’t have any Marion berry lemonade, which is one of the reasons we like MOD. Also, it was 9:45pm close at 10 and everything was pilled up in the dinning area for cleaning. There was a big group using most of the fixed seating so we ended up going outside to eat.
I walked and was kind of greeted by a pizza maker who seemed frantically distracted as they made a salad. I patiently waited about 5 minutes, but they never got to me. That wasn't the reason I left, however. I left because as I stood at the counter waiting, I noticed that the counter was quite a mess. It was as messy as they were frantic. There were pizza toppings and sauce drippings everywhere. The person didn't have on gloves either. As I waited, I pictured myself hours later feeling sick from some of the germs and bacteria from the counter, and I turned and immediately yet calmly walked out of there. She didn't call for me to return, and she never did stop what she was doing. I love MOD as a quick dinner snack, but I likely won't return to this store until they clean up and hire help.
You get to create your own pizza and do whatever you want!! So maybe I went out of control and got too much meat in my pizza, which made the dough a little dry and not juicy enough. Would like to try other flavor that they recommend though.
I love everything but the chairs. They are not comfortable, too hard. I wish they had milkshakes. Vegetarian options: Many options are available, leaves, roots, fruit and mushrooms. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is available. Plenty of veggies for the veggie eaters. Plenty of meat options for the meat eaters. Parking: Store front parking is available.
I enjoy the pizza and atmosphere here. It is a nice place to relax and have good pizza and dessert their "no name" chocolate cake, and the location is great. I am fond of their fountain drink selection, especially having both tea and punch, which I mix. The staff here has always been very friendly and have done a good job making pizza.
I used to love Mod but now you have to ask what the meats are they used to be labeled, the prices have skyrocketed, and there is so much salt you can barely eat it. So disappointing when a great startup turns into a wannabe. The one saving grace is they have excellent people working behind the counter but something tells me they'll cut the wages/benefits back soon if they havent alreadyand we will lose the people that signed on for the atmosphere and comradery that made MOD so special.
While the workers at this location are consistently kind, hard working, and amazing, it is clear that their management does not know how to schedule or run a restaurant. They’re are always incredibly overworked whenever I come in and never have enough employees working. This does not diminish from the professionalism of individual employees, they’re just doing their best with what they have. Whoever makes the schedule should be ashamed.
Slowest Mod Pizza anywhere. Took ten minutes to get one person ordered, not served just ordered. Four people all working just walking around behind the counter doing nothing. Walked out when it was fifteen minutes and the second customer started to get ordered and they went back to the first. Been to lots of mods, won't come back to this one.
Service is great the new employees are much better than before they don't act like their hurting being there the food is excellent everything comes out fresh and it's a happy atmosphere it feels comfortableFood: 5/5
