Modell's Sporting Goods

A sporting good store located in Times Square with a large variety of sporting goods, apparel, clothing, etc. at reasonable prices. It doesn't have everything, but enough considering the size of the store and location.

This is absolutely my favorite Modell’s location. The selection of products is wider than in many other locations, especially those of the outer boroughs. Aside from equipment for baseball, boxing, football, soccer, running, lacrosse, weightlifting and countless other sports, you can also get attire and uniforms. If you have a favorite New York sport team, then look no further for licensed gear. Modell’s offers jerseys, caps and more from every team.

The store has wide variety of sport stuff as expected. Check out their collection of gloves and beanies too They have $5 of texting gloves. Not bad.

Decent sales but no me s basketball shoes.

Very good customer service. Fast and efficient. Lots of deals. Good selection. Overall a VERY GOOD experience at this location.

My experience was not the best one in terms of customer service. First, I found a jacket I really liked but I didn’t find my size. So I asked a store worker if they had the jacket in my size. So she walked off to check for me. While I was waiting I found my size. So I walk over to her to let her know that I found my size, she then tells me “good, now I don’t have to walk back over there”. I was like, “really”? Next, I get on the checkout line. It was moving really slow. When I did finally get to the register to pay, the cashier walks off without saying anything. After being gone for more than three minutes and me getting frustrated she finally returned. I asked her what happened. She told me that my purchase didn’t have a price tag on it. I in turn told her she shouldn’t just walk off on the Customer without first telling them what you’re doing. Then after my purchase was complete she looked at me as if I was wrong for saying anything about it. I just left the store. I like the vast variety of clothes but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The customer service needs work ASAP.

Excellent customer service. If you want something shipped with no charge go there and order and they will ship it to were ever you want it shipped. The only thing is if you are looking for High-Top cleats they don't have Variety, low cuts and Adidas Mids. They have plenty of Jerseys and mouth pieces.

Good overall store. A couple of the staff were very helpful. Trying to use fitting rooms were a pain though. Ones downstairs they had lost the keys, and only one upstairs was open to use. Hard going up/down to find and try on clothes.

Great prices but limited variety. If you are looking for a deal. You may find it.
