Moe's Southwest Grill

First off, we were not greeted when walking into the door. Between that and the A/C not being on while it was 85° outside, we should have just walked out. While waiting in line we noticed that everything had to be restocked as the people ahead of us ordered. Brown rice, black and pinto beans, chicken, and steak. How do you not notice these things getting low? Once we finally had the chance to order the lady taking the order seemed to have an issue with being asked for a burrito at which time she decided to go over the goofy names on the menu. Whatever, that's the least of the problems. Now that our burritos were done a lady comes in behind us looking for her order that was said to be cancelled. This added another delay as the guy working the register left us there while he went to deal with that. After a couple minutes another employee comes to the register to cash us out at which time I ask for chips because our burritos where just placed directly onto the tray with the cup of queso. The first lady then comes over and fills one basket with chips and said this is both portions. Now to the salsa bar. Well, the mild salsa was empty. After asking minutes later that was restocked. Finally, we can eat. The food was good, but wasn't as enjoyable as it would have been if the a/c was on. Also, we ended up needing more chips, which we never do.

DO NOT GO TO THIS MOE’S!!! We came in to the Kirkwood Highway location in Wilmington, DE for “Moe Monday” as there is a discount for burrito’s on Monday's. As we stood in line to place our order, we overheard an old creepy manager giving a fellow customer a hard time about the special. Apparently, there is an app to download in order to get the discount. We regularly eat at many different Moe’s locations, and had never heard of this requirement before. We quickly downloaded the app. The girl helping us barely put any ingredients into our burrito! We kept having to ask for a little more of this or that as it was so skimpy. She then drops some of the veggies on the nasty counter, picks it up and throws it into my burrito. YUCK! She rolls the burrito up, and I am shocked at how tiny they are!! They looked like cigars! We have been coming to Moe’s for ages (other locations), and this was the smallest burrito we ever had! While waiting in line, we noticed that the staff looked really nervous, and the old creepy manager was being overbearing and hovering extremely close to the employees. At one point, the old creepy manager touched one of the female employees on the “lower back”, and she nervously and instinctively flinched! The old creepy manager was waiting for us at the register, and demanded to see if the app uploaded on our phone before applying the Moe’s Monday Discount! We show him our phone, and he looked displeased. The old creepy manager then throws our receipt on top of our tortilla chips and walks away. YUCK! On top of the poor service, small portions, and old creepy manager improperly touching the female help, the restaurant is stifling hot! It is a 90-degree day and the AC is not on. We overheard one employee say, “It is so hot in here I feel like I am going to pass out!”. This is by far the worst Moe’s we have ever been to! The kitchen, prep station, salsa bar, tables and bathroom were filthy dirty!!! I will NEVER step foot into this Moe’s again!!! Before visiting this Moe’s, I encourage you to read the reviews on Google about: the history of health concerns, the hidden cameras found in the ladies bathroom, and the old creepy manager sexually harassing the female employees! This Moe’s needs to be investigated by Moe’s Corporate Office’s, the health department, and by the police! BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!!!

One of my favorite places to get a really great taco salad. We frequent Moe's monthly. Always clean, friendly servers/staff the, owner is a gem.

I would rather go to another location. The manager was staring at the girl preparing my food and informing her to reduce the portion of the food. I ordered a stack and he changed the way it’s usually made just to save cost by putting only one hard shell instead of two (like it’s always been), and a tiny handful of cheese only after I asked. He sneezed so close to my food that I reconsidered the purchase. I’m not one to write reviews but this is the third time I have disliked the service so I’m done with this location. Will be going to the location in bear from now on.

Plenty of seat's. Cafeteria line service. Good Burritos.
