I paid $8k for a cross country move. It took forever to get email responses to questions. The movers showed up almost 6 hours late to pack my stuff. Then it was delivered on the very last day of my delivery window. The movers on this end said it was the worst packed crates they’d ever seen. I experienced $2k in damages to an executive desk, lamps, and fire pit. I filed a claim form right away and had to follow up repeatedly to get resolution. Over a month later, after I sent four follow up emails , my claim was finally assigned to Mayflower for someone local to come look at the damaged goods. Note - over 30 days after I first sent it in. Horrible service. Terrible follow up. I don’t know if they’re too busy or it’s a cultural issue - but don’t use this company unless you want to add persistent follow up and poor communication to your agenda to manage in addition to relocating across the country. Please note- I NEVER write bad reviews for companies. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt and hope they do their jobs. I’m also posting publicly but I’m tired of following up and have as much as written off my damaged goods. Book somewhere else. Don’t use them.

The crews for pick up and delivery were great! Craig, driver, is awesome! He kept in communication with us and had all the answers! Great experience which made the relocation less stressful!

One of the movers was drunk and threw up in my kitchen would not recommend plus they broke my new t.v. and still have not compensated me for having to pay for a new t.v.

The worse move experience I have ever had. The lady, who did the estimate, missed the half of what had to be moved in a ONE bedroom apartment. Then, she tried to blame my wife for it. Because of that we rewrote the contract several times. The crew showed up late, three men, one of them drunk, the other one - totally incompetent. Only one guy knew what he was doing. They didn’t have any tools to reassemble my furniture. Luckily I had my tools available. They didn’t have any mattress boxes, or mirror cartoons. I had to provide them with all of that, but they still charged us for those. It took them 6 hours to unload a one bedroom apartment. They lied to us that our mattresses (including the baby mattress) were placed in boxes and were well protected at their storage. The mattresses were delivered 3 weeks later with no boxes. They completely crushed several boxes with lamp shades and table tops. They lost an extra large Home Depot box and didn’t even bother to search for it. They compensated only by the retail price, but there were original soccer balls from previous world cups in that lost box. As collectable items, it is impossible to replace these. with the original prices now. We haven’t received a single call, or an apology from the company.
Update: The Company management contacted us and formally apologized for the negative experience we had. They assured us, that additional quality control improvements have been implemented as they strive for 100% customer satisfaction.

We want to thank all the staff at Malloy Brothers for the very professional and thorough job they did to move our possessions interstate. From meeting with the salesman, to the customer service representative, to the driver and his crew we experienced a knowledgeable, informative, pleasant and hardworking staff to make our move from New Jersey to Pennsylvania smooth and expedient.
We had heard about moving companies giving a low-priced quotation and then tacking on costs when the job was completed so we were skeptical about meeting any moving company. Our fears vanished when we dealt with Malloy. From the beginning when meeting the sales representative, Joe, who was very personable and knowledgeable, to speaking to the customer service representative who coordinated the dates and assisted us online to complete forms necessary for the move (we are not computer literate), Kerri, to the truck driver, German and his staff and seeing how they wrapped, packaged and handled our possessions (mirrors, furniture, household items, carpets, glass items etc.) we were very impressed. Not one item was damaged or broken. The move went greatly. The price we were quoted was the final price we were charged. The delivery time was worked out to our schedule and everything went smoothly. A big thank you to everyone at Malloy who helped making our move easy and allowing us to settle in to our new apartment quickly.
