Got talking as I entered and forgot to order the Frozen Irish drink thing. Ordered a red wine, it came in a can. Wasn't bad, just unexpected. Fun atmosphere. Good music from the jukebox. Fast & friendly bartender. Drinks starting at $5.
Excellent bar in the middle of the all the action. Prices good for the area. Frozen Irish coffee is like the best frosty youll ever have. Drinks are cheap for the area. It's hard to beat this bar for location, prices and service.
Came for the famous frozen Irish coffee! It was delicious I could have had 2! Great coffee flavor and fairly priced.
Man is this the quintessential dive bar or what?! This place's decorations are purchases of all the other decorations of bars that have gone out of business. That's wild enough, haha, add in just the overall feel and vibe and you have got yourself a 100% Grade A dive spot. Now I don't mean that to be a negative thing, because to me it isn't. These types of places feel like "home" to me. It seemed like most of the people here were not tourists, and the bartenders were no frills type of people. All I want in a bar is a good drink and to not catch an attitude or have a bunch of people doing touristy stuff. Thank you Molly's, you win. I got a "Dark n Stormy" and it was delicious. SO .. I got another! Ended up having a few, it is what it is. Long story short, i've been back to Molly's since, and i'll continue to keep going back anytime i'm in the area.
Yummy bar drinks. Always fun stop in when in NOLA. Ask for their special drink....you will want the large.
The best frozen irish coffee ever! It is so so good and absolutely worth the hype. An ice cream coffee drink if you will. Perfect for a hot day walking around the French Quarter. It will be our my tradition to come here!
Never disappoints! Every time we visit town we stop in for a pint and frozen Irish coffee! Every bartender has been amazing and the customers are good banter as well. No fills, just good drinks and good people! Les bon temps rouler
I came here from Memphis with a group of coworkers for a conference. We were apart of a hunted bar crawl. I had a great experience until our last bar stop. The young lady there attitude was horrible. I was buying drinks for other people as well as myself and let her know which change was for which particular drink. As I held my hand out for the change she threw my change on the counter then made an excuse about how she had to reach over straw station and wasn’t intending throw It. There was no need to reach if my hand was already reached in front of her. If I could rate no stars I would. People shouldn’t have certain jobs if they can’t handle crowds of people or don’t like people of diversities.
Frozen Irish Coffee is a must have and you can add a shot! Cool divey vibe with plenty of kitsch. Bartender Bailey was attentive and warm. Would definitely come back!
This is the bar to visit if you want a laid-back atmosphere with a cafe speciality menu. I ordered the spooky spiced sangria and hot chocolate spiked with pumpkin spice liquor. I'm not even a fireball person but the sangria was delicious -- the hot chocolate had a nice kick to it without taking away from drink itself. Brian provided service with a pleasant attitude and conversation. Would highly recommend trying their unique drinks. I can't imagine finding another place like it.
