Mondel Chocolates

Mondel's is a staple of quality and luxury that has been bringing me back for 39 years, even now that I live in San Francisco. The delights of Jack's chocolates are not to be missed.

Old world quality chocolates. Sold by weight, price ranges from just over 20-30 dollars a pound. Lovely gift tins, gift bags and old school ribbon wrapping. Not cheap, but the quality is worth every penny. Love the extra bittersweet chunks, the cocoa covered almonds and the chocolate espresso beans. Great holiday selection too, including pre packed gift boxes. No nonsense, efficient service from older couple who run the store. Cash only unless you spend more than 15 dollars.

The best chocolate in the world. I've enjoyed it since I was a child. A unique and historic little mom and pop shop. They make their own chocolate in the back!

Great chocolates, store has been around for ages. The hours of operation are a little tricky. But the chocolate is worth it

My wife and I eat a lot of chocolate. We've traveled a lot, and have tried chocolate around the world. This is our favorite. Try the dark pecan turtles. Check out their connection to Katharine Hepburn. (Spoiler! They were her favorite too!)
