This place literally has a bound book menu of beer! The bar tenders are also incredibly knowledgeable about the beers served. It’s a lovely place to grab a drink, meet up with a friend, or to sit down to a delicious meal. Highly recommended. Be warned that it is usually busy around peak dining hours, and it’s not a huge place, but that’s part of the cozy, nestled experience of dining here.

Great busy place in city center. The place has more of a bar ambience at night but they will still serve all their food at late hours which is great and just what I was looking for. The mussels are amazing and served with fries, just like in Belgium. The Mayo for the fries was great. The service was amazing and the waiter was very helpful in recommending a great cider. The beer menu is extensive and the staff is knowledgeable on it. I definitely recommend it and will go back next time I'm in Philly.

Huge selection of Awesome beer. The only place I know of with a similar selection of beer would be, "Falling Rock Tap House" in Denver Colorado. Cozy joint with great staff. They have tons of recognition: - Best Bar in Philly - Best beer bar in Pennsylvania - Best place to have a Belgium beer in the United States - One of the Top 5 places in the world to have a beer. So... Yeah! If you love beer, then you definitely need to come here!

Anywhere that has a beer bible with over 300 beers on it is great with me. The food is equally wonderful. From the mussels to the buffalo frog legs. To the Rabbit Coullet all great tasting with reasonable prices. The prices on the beer selection run from reasonable to pretty pricey. But you will find beer there that you can't get anywhere else and the price is reflective of the rarity.

Brew pub style restaurant with excellent food and beer choices. Monk's own sour ale is my favorite. One of the less crowded weekday lunch spots, it's easy to get a table. Lively at happy hour and beyond.
