I visited this boutique in the morning and it was not busy at all. I was politely greeted by Nancy, one of the Sales Associates. Nancy was very polite and knowledgeable of the products available. She allowed me to test out and try multiple pens, see and hold various leather goods, and provide history on the products. Nancy provided us with complimentary beverages during our visit. I am very happy with my purchase and experience at this Montblanc boutique.
Been going here for years now. I love my Montblanc accessories they make me feel like a king in the office. The sales reps are very helpful at this location. - Cheers Dr G
Bought a watch online & the strap was just cheap & nasty. Not something you would usually associate with this brand but unfortunately this is just junk. CS contacted me & promised from the store would follow up & that never happened. There customer service seems to as their cheap straps...
I used to drop by this location regularly a decade ago when I visited NYC for regular business meetings and to visit my cousin who lives in Manhattan. This store was close to my clients office building and my cousin's condo. So I would drop in after my meetings to browse around. The quality of the Mont Blanc leather goods are outstanding. They do stand the test of time. I am not a big fan of their ballpoint pens however. I had a Starwalker and a Generation before and I was not impressed. Maybe the Meisterstuck pens are better. But I digress. However, their leather goods are a sure hit. I remember the sales staff Brandi and Peter ??? were rather helpful. I had no complaints back then.
I found the pen I was looking for online and submitted an inquiry form. The store called me the very next morning and held it for me until I could get there to purchase. Sandy is kind and helpful. I will be back!
I Absolutely know now why people are so attracted to these writing instruments! I finally got my hands on one and had the honor of coming into the store to do so. The customer service was impecable and the level of professionalism was next level. The store manager Christian really made me feel at home and the other products that were not writing instruments were all top quality! Im certainly coming back again for a watch and a few other things that I had my eye on! My overall experience from door man to my exit was a 20 out of 10! Thanks to the crew at Montblanc for making my experience great!!!
We spent approximately $1,000 on a Montblanc pen as a gift. We were told we could mail it to them to be engraved, which we did and eventually received it back with a very faint engraving that was barely visible. The pen sat on the desk in it's cushioned box and when we finally opened it to use it we noticed a chip on the pen cap. We reached out to Montblanc immediately upon noticing the damage and they replied that it would cost us an additional $100 to fix the damage. We find this is unacceptable and expect them to fix the pen cap without charge. They should stand behind their workmanship and the quality of their product, and furthermore this damage was done in their hands. That a cap could chip at all is unacceptable, and that they would try to charge additional money is disgraceful.
Great experience at the store yesterday. I walked in looking for green ink refills, which I had scoured the globe for post Covid short supply, and Christian Saccal simply gave them to me, owing to my extensive international efforts to find them. Very polite. Very professional.
They are beautiful instruments the only reason I gave 2 stars which should last a lifetime given the cost, but they don’t. I went to the store on Madison a month ago with a pen which would not close properly or stay closed. The associate told me it was “retired” because it was a defective model and would I be interested in purchasing another because the pen I owned could not be repaired. . My response was why would I want to buy another pen from a company that would sell defective merchandise and not guarantee it’s performance. She was polite but curt. When who I assume was the manager got involved,, she suddenly said that is why they are offering a 20% discount to those customers. My feeling is 20% off of an expensive pen that doesn’t have a cap that stays on is still 20% off of another pen that might not close properly. I think I should have gotten an even exchange or a free pen even with a downgrade. I will be looking to replace my absolutely favorite pen with one from another company.
Arrived yesterday with three old 25 years plus Montblanc fountain pens. I had an appointment with Gracie, but I could not show up at my appointed time so when I arrived Gracie was busy already with another customer. Sorry Gracie that I was late. But I was greeted cheerfully by Arvind the Sales Manager who took a look at my three MB pens. They had old faded engravings from years ago and he offered to refresh the engravings FOR FREE! Nice! While waiting, another sales associate took over and she showed me the pens that I wanted to buy. Unfortunately, they had no stock Global supply problem affects pens too so they took my name and number and promised to call when the new stock arrived. Arvind also showed me some fine watches made by MB and went into fine detail explaining each one. Unfortunately, I don't know much about MB watches so I had to pass on those. Will definitely return when they call for the new supply. Would like to get a pen pouch too. Great service, nice genuine interest to be of assistance. Highly recommend. and they respond to emails too. Thanks Gracie!
