Moore's Tavern & Sports Bar

Went on a Saturday night around 6pm, dining room was not busy at all. Sat down and greeted right away. Placed a drink order which came quick. My wife and I ordered entrees which supposedly come with a house salad. After some time passed out came the food which could have used some seasoning. Never got our salads before hand. My wife asked the next time the waiter came to table and the reply was if we wanted them to go. Hmmm , no I would have liked it before we got the main meal. How do you forget the salads?

Have passed this place so many times growing up. This is the first time I stopped in. Nice place. Our waitress was very nice and was very helpful. Ordered the Jersey burger. For those that don't know that's a burger with pork roll. The waitress added I may want to try the egg on top. She said it was very good. I decided to try it. The burger was so good. Especially with the egg. Will definitely be going back for round two.

Large bar and dining room with plenty of seating. Great burgers and personal size pizzas. Casual dining with reasonable prices. Daily specials and happy hour specials.

Pros: Clean, nice atmosphere, good service. Cons: The food. Everytime someone takes me here the food sucks. Almost ever dish is cold and undercooked. I am positive not a single cook knows how to check for temperature. This place desperately needs a new back of house. Next time someone tries to drag me there I think I will have to insist on the Court Jester instead.

Nice place bar service can be slow but definitely better the last several visits. Great happy hour deals on appetizers.
