Mootown Ice Cream & Dessert Shoppe

Great ice cream sundaes with excellent service, every time. Mootown has a rotation of about 15 flavors of ice cream, and makes a great sundae. Of special note, they also have scoop-able cookie dough that can substitute a scoop of ice cream, or they will make you a cookie ice cream sandwich.

Stopped here for an ice cream treat and So glad we did! Their homemade ice cream was delicious. - rich, creamy and not sugary. Servings were generous! Service was friendly and helpful that gave some options of ice cream to try.

I think their ice cream is top notch. There just aren't many hand scoop shops in this area. They could have better hours but that seems to be true of most businesses in Eastern Market.

Great ice cream; they had the best coffee ice cream I've ever had. It wasn't too sweet and it had a really deep, strong coffee flavor. Butter pecan was average. Would like to go back to try other flavors.
