Morningside Music Studio is a local music ensemble and instruction studio that has been serving students in the Arlington area since 2007. Specializing in rock, blues, jazz and funk ensembles, and private lessons for all ages. We offer the opportunity for you to find your musical voice, improve on your instrument, and perform in public. Morningside also offers string quartets and Suzuki Violin lessons. I started taking lessons here after almost a decade of only private lessons. It's so important to learn music by playing it and not just practicing in your bedroom. Dan's created a great environment for people of all skill levels to learn in.

Playing in several different groups at Morningside really helped me wrap my head around making music in real time with other people. The level of talent and dedication in the group leaders is astonishing. I recommend the program to anyone looking for the best route to grow as a musician.

Morningside has given me an opportunity to have a weekly rehearsal, learn some cool new tunes courtesy of Dan, and meet some great people! Highly recommended for anybody that wants to play more and learn

Fantastic way for adults to jump into or back into a jazz ensemble situation!  Plenty of different levels of ability, and Dan is great to work with and learn from.  And a reasonable price for a weekly guaranteed session!

You will find professional, experienced faculty who are passionate about teaching music and performing. There are opportunities for musicians of all levels for all sorts of styles. I got to play in a jazz ensemble and loved it. Check out their opportunities!
