Accidentally run into this farmers market in the morning, I still remember the smell of the sunshine of the early winter morning. One of my fav memories in NY.
Exceptionally well stocked farmers market, featuring freshly baked goods, and high quality locally grown produce, amongst other items. The vendors are very friendly and engaging. A hidden gem, and absolutely worth the trip. PS: Don't forget to bring your own reusable eco friendly bags.
A weekly fresh market. But this year the hours have been cut back. They now pack up and leave around 3 PM
Great product and great service and excellent service wonderful atmosphere great prices will be going back to stock up
This Saturday market has been such a much needed and appreciated community amenity during the current pandemic. I’ve got so many favorite vendors here that it’s hard to name just a few. The pasta, fish, and pickles really stand out though and they have some new and really interesting rotating vendors. I’m partial to some of the featured distilleries and Kofta from the Bombay Chutney Co. In the interest of full disclosure, I had a role in bringing this market to Morningside Park back in 2005. Having said that, I do not have nor have ever had any financial ties to the market or any of the vendors. I just really enjoy this market!
I visited with my darling son and enjoyed a delightful breakfast. Afterwards, he took me to the market. For the most part the vendors were pleasant and seemed to value [every] customer. I was introduced to an arugula salad that was labeled spicy. I loved it. I look forward to our next visit. Thank you.
It's a small market, but I buy something every week I go! Coffee, bread, seafood, flowers, Greek food, honey and the most amazing organic meats. Lots of produce and there always seems to be a rotation of a few new booths each week
We come to this market every week and buy all our produce here. They have everything you could possibly need as far as produce goes, and three bakeries with delicious baked breads and pastries. There are also vendors that sell pickles so good, very high quality artisan vinegars and olive oils the only place I get my vinegars from, and coffee. I am a vegan so I don't buy the meats, eggs and seafood, but these are also available. There are also artists selling arts, and craftspeople like basket weavers, etc. I love this farmers market so much, and am so grateful it is so close to my apartment. I think the prices are very reasonable in comparison other major NYC farmers markets, and it has everything those markets have.
Very nice farmers market with unusual vendors and a B Corp sensibility. Devoted to sustainable agriculture, purpose and the community. Prices seemed higher than at many markets but hard to compare.
Great little market with a nice selection of things. My main love for here is you can donate your old clothes, shoes even underwear thanks to greentree textiles recycling where they find all amazing ways to reuse fabric including your dmg rubber soles of your old sneakers. They also accept clothes in good nick for charity to be reused.
