Story

John Morrissey was the war-time alias of a commanding officer in the old IRA, as he was on the run from the Free State Forces and the Black and Tans. Morrissey was grandfather to one of the pub's founders, Paul Crilly. Today, Morrissey's Irish Pub is proudly located in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis.

At the moment you enter this restaurant the personel give you an excellent feeling. Very congenial crew, it is a happy place to to go out with buddies or with your date. tasty food, experienced chef, decent cost and attentive service. Warmly recommended.
A very beautiful place. Has an amazing atmosphere with delicious food. Very nicely prepare in a very timely manner. Our service was amazing with the server coming at all the appropriate times. Highly recommend the salmon omelette and the banana whiskey foster! Very delightful experience.
Affordable, within walking distance, spacious, amazing food. I hate trivia they play it there but it's not stopping my rating cause my friend and I were still able to chill with the game going on... Super nice staff, which is maybe the only thing that matters.

Really great burgers. Went in Saturday afternoon with my young daughters. We were greeted quickly after we sat down and offered drinks and menus. Food was good, burger was awesome. Waitress was attentive and friendly without being obnoxious. Would definitely visit again.
