This spot was recommended to me from a server at a really great restaurant called Ima Izakaya down the block, and it didn’t disappoint. We got lucky and came on a Jazz night hosted every third Saturday of the month with The Jesse Kramer Trio, and we had a great time. Great music, ambiance, wine and friendly staff - We’ll definitely come back when I’m in Detroit.
Fantastic natural wine spot in Detroit. Predominantly European wine, but very wide range and the staff are super friendly and knowledgable about their stock. Don’t let the looks from the outside put you off, it looks closed, perhaps even slightly abandoned at first look. Even the door with the open sign looks like it’s closed, but go inside and it’s a great spot. Good bar for drinking in, lots of seats and a huge terrace at the back. Would very much recommend this place if you are a natural wine fan
Great vibe sorta...some ppl got charged a cover some didn't‍ learn the process of the establishment. Great saxophonist tonite. I would return. Not my first time here....Service: 4/5
I went here for the first time recently and loved it. The atmosphere is amazing and I love being able to just have a bottle of wine in a more relaxed setting. It is pretty loud, so not super great for quiet, intimate interactions, but it has an amazing vine. Plus the wine we got was delicious
I usually don't leave negative reviews, but the staff was so rude when all I did was ask a question about what was available that my friends and I ended up leaving. We are from out of town and had never been in before, so a single ? seems reasonable. Was also told "I'm waiting..." with crossed arms and a sigh when we took more than 60 seconds to order, not even enough time to read over the menu. No thanks.
I'd first like to thank my Manager at my place of employment for recommending me to go. I went for the first time my husband and BFF and her husband, this past Saturday. This place was amazing good music, good wine, and the charcuterie board was good also.Food: 5/5
It's a great place to hang with friends, But, when a customer asks the bartender if they have a beer that is equivalent to what they are used to drinking, it's not a good look for the bartender to say "Nothing!.....Next!"Food: 2/5
The guy with the dreds was not friendly and had a bad attitude. We were not greeted by any bartenders. The cheese plate was old and crusty. I was there to celebrate and this place put me in a bad mood. Will not be going bad. Band was excellent. Thats the only good part.Food: 1/5
Visited from Brooklyn and I wish we had something like this. Loved meeting the owners, the patio is wonderful, and the wine selection is top tier. I’ll be back tomorrow!Service: 5/5
I like to go for Tango dancing on Wed. Nights and I've been there for small music artists events and House music on Sundays. I like that it's small and cozy. I usually eat at home before I go. The charcuterie boards do not entice me at all. I hear there is a food truck, but it's never there during the times of my events. Great selection of wines. They need to invest in upgrading their dance floor. There is a serious slant and now the cheap linoleum floor is ripping up making it very hazardous for dancers.
