Great experience dining to celebrate the new year with my significant other. Cozy and intimate oyster bar where you can interact with the knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming staff and culinary crew. Amazing dishes we had the chef's tasting that really bring out the best in the seafood featured in each plate. Wine pairings were on par with each course and were creative additions. Dessert was perfect and the ice cream was an enjoyable accompaniment. Have been to Marrow many times always pleased and will be back at Mink!

Get the tasting menu, and don't be afraid to engage with the chef and the staff. The service was immaculate throughout our experience. The dishes were well crafted with every ingredient in mind, tasty and filling too. By the end of the tasting menu, we were pretty full. Their ice cream is a must try. We had the hazelnut and the mint, and it was worth it. As the menu rotates once a month, it's such a great place for a date night/treat yourself vibe. We have to return here and would highly recommend to try.

Mink was absolutely phenomenal, from the food to the service to the wine. We got the tasting menu and added on the option beverage pairing and a tinned fish and came out stuffed! The dishes were well rounded and wine paired perfectly with each course. They were also very attentive to any food allergies and the chef paid careful attention to prepping each dish with this in mind. We will 100% come back here, I’m interested in trying their special weekday ramen too! As a couple that loves The Royce, Mink certainly did not disappoint :

We went for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner. The caviar was delicious, drinks were good, service was top notch! Tinned seafood could have been served in a more inventive way but was high quality and tasty. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The tasting menu was on its first day when we tried, some items were excellent, others needed a little more refining but that is the nature of a tasting menu. Dessert was good, the coconut ice cream was amazing! The service was 5 stars +. It’s definitely an experience!

This small quaint seafood restaurant was a delight. It’s in They offer different tastings of unique seafood combinations. Your plate comes to you beautifully created which made me want to try everything. If you want your palate to be pleasantly surprised give them a try. This was my first time trying some of the foods within my courses, like squid. The service was great. The waitress was knowledgeable and atmosphere perfect for a group or couple to enjoy their experience. Parking was readily available which was great being it’s winter here in Detroit. Would definitely go back for new surprise Bc they change their menu every 3 weeks. They do add a 20% gratuity no matter the party size but that’s stated on their site so it was no surprise. Mink was hands down one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have had in Detroit. It was cozy, modern and exceptional. The kind of place where everyone in the restaurant is in on the fun. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. The couple two tables over was celebrating theirs too. Another — their birthday. And another still, just alone and enjoying the ambience. Everyone was smiling and enjoying such a fantastic spread of oysters, chef’s picks, sake’s, cocktails and more. Plus — at the end of the night, the staff gifted us with a free dessert for our special day. Reminded us of a night in San Fran or NYC. Only maybe a bit better.
