This is really a terrific place to work out. I've been coming here for Pilates since 2008. The quality of the Instructors, their background knowledge and their personalized attention with each client is the reason why I love this place. Every instructor is friendly and kind and they care a lot about their clients. The equipment is top-quality and well maintained. This speaks well of the Owner who truly has a generous heart and believes in providing the best experience for the clients. And by the way, you can't beat that beautiful view of Pewaukee Lake!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! It's very hard to find a yoga/Pilates studio that is so organized, attentive, clean, and family friendly. I had signed up for a class and arranged childcare for my 3yr old and my 7 month old. The morning of the class, my baby sitter cancelled and, because I was in so much pain and really needed the stretching, I went to the studio anyways. I was completely embarrassed and mortified when I walked in. I mean, who brings their 2 small kids to a Pilates class. The staff must have seen how mortified I was and they really stepped in to help me. One of the instructors had no class going on, she immediately offered to take my kids into a different area of the studio so I could still take the class and my children wouldn't disturb the others. As I was walking over to take my place with the rest of the group, I noticed I FORGOT SOCKS!!!!! WHO FORGETS SOCKS???? I was so frazzled, I almost started crying right there!!!! Before I could even say anything, The instructor of my class came walking over and handed me a pair of socks that they have at the studio. I began to walk back to get my purse so I could purchase them, and the instructor stopped me, saying " We all have bad days, don't worry about the socks, we have socks you can borrow, I'm glad you still decided to come." This place makes you feel like family. That's hard to find these days, in individuals, but especially in businesses!!! Thank you Movement Center!!!!! You have a customer for LIFE!!!

I love that one star is described as, "hated it". The customer service is awful for several different reasons. First off: the website. Things that should be clarified on the website are: you need to sign up for all classes online and BRING SOCKS (or be forced to buy some). Second, there is not receptionist to help you and you are left to fend for yourself.
I was so excited to come do Aerial Yoga, because I have been in so much pain. I checked the night before if the class was still scheduled to take place. When we arrived, two classes were taking place. There was no one there to greet us or let us know that the class that we were there to take was CANCELLED. So, we waited around for 10 minutes before we could finally bring up the internet to see that the class has been cancelled. The woman conducting Pilates was more concerned with her (all be it adorable) child than to help us or give 100% attention to her class. I do see what the other review said about the child care. It seems that it is the job of another child (her sister?) to take care of her.
I am hoping there is some other reason that this class was cancelled besides lack of attendance. I don't think that it is appropriate to cancel a class for that reason alone. You should always keep in mind that you may have walk-ins. If you must cancel, at least cancel it with 24 hours notice. With how they conduct business? I am surprised they are still IN BUSINESS.
This trip was a waste of my time, money, and gas. I am so disappointed.
