About Therese Stark - Instructor/Owner
Fortunate to attend a New York Pilates certification center in Evanston IL, in 1996 taught by Romana Kryzanowska, student/apprentice to Joseph Pilates under the tutelage of Sari Mejia Santo and Juanita Lopez. Romana's Pilates certification program is dedicated to teaching the spirit and integrity of his legacy. The movements are designed to teach with fluidity/flow. Transitions are key (as well as dynamic) but transitions provide a system remembered over our lifetime. Teaching a Pilates program tailored for each individual body type, working with one's strengths and weaknesses, basic to advanced, is the most rewarding to me.
