great coffee!! the espresso mocha was the right amount of chocolatey, very smooth, and perfectly sweetened. the prices are also reasonable. i'll definitely be coming back here!
French's is the best unknown coffee spot in inner SE. Hands down. Don't go there. Keep it unknown! For my sake! On top of serving great coffee, Mitch is an authentic beer guy and will tell you where the best new beer spots in town are. Get an Americano and then head to any of his great beer suggestions!
Needed a quick cup of coffee before a work trip, this place totally delivered. Small and cozy, great pastries and great service, can’t beat the prices either. The gentleman that helped us was quick and polite. Will come back again!
Mr. French’s is a hidden gem the gentleman that owns and operates this is reliably warm and welcoming. His work is consistent and the coffee is made with fine and fresh beans! Perfect spot to grab some joe
This is my favorite coffee shop in Portland. I visit Mitch every day and the service/prices can't be beat. The pastries and sandwiches he carries are top-notch as well, with a rotating selection so there's always surprises.
This might be one of those hidden gems in the city. Coffee and snack prices are much more fair than at other shops and Mr. French makes a lovely London Fog. This is a grab-n-go type place with no seating.
Cheaper than Water Ave. Coffee., and way better quality. Has fantastic baked goods. $6 with tip for a large coffee and a big peanut butter cookie, so good.
Very good coffee at a stellar price! Beats any other good coffee place’s prices. Friendly owner, nice shop. Totally recommend.
Could not find parking and we really wanted to try the coffee. But I had hungry kids and we drove all over looking for parking . Found parking and kids are happy and we love it
Mitch is great, the coffee is consistently good, and there is somehow never a line at this standing room only location. Highly recommended.
