Serenity Wellness Spa is warm and inviting. Visiting feels like visiting family. The staff is knowledgeable and is always professional. I love receiving my monthly shipments of handmade, natural products for my body. Excellent location for City residents but worth the trip for those in the surrounding counties.

We really enjoyed our experiences at Serenity Wellness. A husband and wife run the business together. They really go above and beyond when it comes to service. My friends, sisters, mom, and I have been going there together for years. We have done everything from celebrate birthdays, had baby showers, and more. They make their own vegan skin care. It is wonderful, reasonable, and consistent. I have had awesome massages, gotten nails done, and brows arched. Keep up the good work!

Serenity Wellness Studio has a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. You can sense the creative spirit as soon as you walk in. There are a variety of natural body products, handcrafted accessories and fashionable tees. I appreciate the individualized attention during my services. I became a member a few months ago in order to experience the many different services offered and that are in the making and to enjoy the discounted benefits. I would definitely recommend this business!

I had a facial membership and learned so much about my skin. Cynthia took great care of me. The atmosphere was quiet and serene. She was professional and knowledgeable. I wanted to find a business that used natural products. She handmade the products herself! Knowing that I was only getting the best ingredients on my skin without any dangerous chemicals, had me sold. I also had a back facial which was wonderful. I'll be using Serenity Wellness for all of my beauty needs.

The short of it - the atmosphere is amazing, Steven was fantastic, and I cannot recommend this place enough. The longer version - the front room is a bit busy, but the treatment room was decorated perfectly. For example, rather than completely covering up the skylight, fabric was draped over it so that it wasn't blindingly bright, but still let natural light into the room. I absolutely love that they offered both a table warmer and a fan, which can be turned on/off at your preference, because I love the feel of a fan blowing on me. The room smelled nice, but not overpoweringly scented. Everything was clean and simple, with neutral walls that still had a bit of color. Essentially, it was serene and welcoming without seeming over done. Now on to Steven! He was truly fantastic. I'm not avid about a lot of the spiritual aspects of massage, but for the first time I can recall I truly felt the healing thought and energy he put into my massage. After perusing my introduction form, he noted that I have a lot of stress and anxiety, and suggested an abdominal massage, because a lot of stress sits on our abdomen. I'd never thought about it, but that does make a lot of sense, considering our core and how we hold ourselves when stressed! I was a bit wary, but figured I had two hours so I'd give it a go. Holy moly, what a difference it made! I was sore in places I didn't even realize! I'm a total believer - you should definitely give it a massage. I also really liked that when working on my legs, he did stretches with me very much like a physical therapist, which truly helped loosen up my hip joints and leg muscles in a way I'm not sure traditional massage could have. I groaned the whole time, but what a difference it has made! Steven really had his work cut out for him - it's been almost a year since my last massage - but he was cheerful, kind, breathed with me, and had me laughing. I also appreciate how respectful he was of modesty, since I have never had a male massage therapist before. It was a truly great experience, very reasonably priced, and I will be coming back to Steven, and Serendipity Wellness, in the future!

I initially went to Serenity Wellness for a massage. It was the best massage that I ever had! While I was there I inquired about the facials because I started to experience severe breakout. Cynthia was able to see me a few days later and within 3 months she had my skin clear! The services are fantastic, the staff is professional and the space is cozy and serene. I highly recommend!

Every time I visit this place it's ALWAYS a pleasurable experience! The owners are extremely professional and knowledgeable. They explain everything in detail so that you understand each process and how it will work for you. They give suggestions on how I can improve my skin, nails, body and health and unlike many other places I've been in the past they don't pressure you into anything. They are truly in business to help you. I've never been so comfortable with trusting anyone with my services as I do here. I would recommend anyone to not only visit this place but become a member. So many perks at a very good low cost. And all services are reasonable. My promise to you is that you will not be disappointed!

This is my spa of choice and I travel an hour to get here. I have never had anything but awesome care, wonderful time, and the spa is always clean and inviting. The owners are the best ever as well and make you feel like you belong everytime you walk in the door. You must go if you are in the DC Metro area at least once for the experience.

This is a small African American business owned and operated by husband and wife. They both are personable and very knowledgeable about skin care. But when I say...I am in love with there butters..I wish I could take them all...I have even sent my cousin there for me because it's embarrassing that I used all the butter so fast ..lol all in all support this business your skin will not be disappointed neither will your mate

My friends and I had a girls day at the Spa. The owner and employees were very welcoming and accommodating. The services were excellent. A bonus: organic products along with fashion accessories are for sale in the gift shop.
