The Mt Hood Hearing Team took wonderful care of my Father's hearing needs over the last 15 plus years. They were always available if an adjustment needed to be made or if a device needed to be replaced in a timely manner. Our family really appreciated their great service!

My experience with Mt. Hood Hearing was excellent from the first telephone call to set up an appointment to my third appointment to check my hearing aids shortly after I got them. These are people who care about me. It was a wonderful change from my earlier experience with my United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plan. About three years ago I got hearing aids through a different company and had a terrible, non-personalized, frustrating experience with it. What a different experience I had at Mr. Hood Hearing! Very convenient office, a welcoming receptionist and Vladimir Gutierrez is passionate about the whole process of helping people with their hearing issues. I had an appointment where my hearing was comprehensively computer tested, and Vladimir explained what impressed me most about hearing aids: they're to assist with hearing, but as important is the effect on the brain of being able to hear. Keeping the brain actively hearing can help combat cognitive decline. After discussing the whole process with Vladimir, I was convinced that the hearing aids I got were going to make a real difference in the quality of my life, so I got the higher-priced UHC-subsidized offerings. On the second visit I was fitted with the hearing aids that had been ordered and extensive testing was done via the computer to ensure that the aids were meeting my hearing correction requirements. On my third visit, Vladimir accessed through the computer the records of the usage for my hearing aids to check things like how long I'd worn them and whether I'd made adjustments to the settings. He made some minor adjustments and I left feeling very happy with my new situation. I wear the aids every day, they're comfortable and I don't give them a second thought. And I've notice that my brain is happy to be able to hear more of my life now. I heard my cat's claws click on the hardwood floor and thought "I need to clip those claws." I feel more engaged and in touch with what's going on around me. Almost everyone I know who’s tried hearing aids has had a frustrating experience. My recommendation to them is always the same: One conversation with Vladimir will convince you that there is a real solution available. I don't think I could have made a better investment in my own health and future. I view my hearing care like my dental care: I can do the daily maintenance, but I look forward to working with Mt. Hood Hearing with regular checkups in the future and keeping the hearing I still have for as long as I can.

Both of my parents used Mt. Hood hearing for their hearing aids and I found Vladimir, Darien and the whole staff to be so helpful. They went out of their way to recommend fixes to my parents hearing aid needs. I spent a lot of time getting advice from them from which hearing aids would work to mending their existing ones if that was possible. They saved me a lot of time and my interactions were always very pleasant.

Thank you to Vladimir and Darian at Mt Hood Hearing for vastly improving my aunt's quality of life. My then 97-year-old aunt was adamant that she didn't need hearing aids, although it was clear that she did. When I called to get some initial information, Darian was extremely helpful and informative. At each of our visits, Darian was very welcoming and professional. Vladimir spent a lot of time with my aunt. He explained her hearing test results and how being able to hear well, in addition to the social benefits, also imparts important cognitive benefits. He also helped us decide which hearing aid was best for her. Vladimir also made sure she was comfortable putting her hearing aids in. Hearing aids vastly improved my aunt's quality of life. She was able to fully participate in conversations, and she was no longer frustrated because she was struggling to understand what was said.

Mr. Guitierrez is great to work with. He is caring and educated in the newest information about hearing, aging and dementia. He takes time with each client and explains everything. I would recommend him unconditionally. Mrs Guittierrez and office staff are also warm and welcoming.

I had a great experience getting my concert earplugs. The appointment was very quick and my earplugs came within a few days. I would highly recommend coming here to any fellow concert goers.
