Clean and safe station. Kinda desolate, you hardly see anyone there. There are no homeless lingering around so that's a plus. Gets disinfected regularly so thank you MTA!!! The disinfecting crew pays attention to detail and leave everything spotless. And I'm not talking to the mta crew that goes around with a truck power washing the stations, they clean as well, but it's not the same as actually disinfecting everything that the passengers touch.
It's a unique station built into the side of a mountain but it still has no accessibility and it can be added for next to nothing.
I think it's interesting how deep underground this station is. It's very old. But, well kept. This along with 181st IRT are two of the deepest underground stations in NYC. I love the 1900's architecture with all the decorative small tiles. Especially on the platform walls & ceilings.
This station has a long tunnel and some math on a pillar. Out of 10 I would say 9 it’s only missing 1 point for its lack of candy.
One of the more unique stations in the system. I don’t know why people say there are stairs going up to street level that smell like piss, when it’s just a tunnel one direction and an elevator on the other side. The tunnel does get wet from condensation from being inside the mountain and plenty of tourists who clog the system not knowing where to go. Aside that great station.
Such a creepy station with a beautiful entrance. It wasn’t crowded on Sunday afternoon
Very distressed ancient but the way around city needs safe modern good influence I want to avoid sometimes i dont People really get our hopes up but its a Fort 5 stars of rage
It's nice to have a station right nexto the park. Gotta walk all the way down to the station like on the side of the hill. There is actually a basketball court as u continue walking sraight from the main street entrance.
Just the thought of the smell make me happier I dont need to take the subway anymore.
Elevators To Cabrini park are closed until Sept 2021 for replacement. For access to Cabrini park and fort washington ave Walk to 193 st & Broadway enter the park and follow the path to Stairs that will take you to the circle on cabrini park. About 10 to 15 mins of walking up. If you are coming on the A train get off at 181st station take elevators to Fort Washington Ave and take M4 bus to Cabrini Park.
