As of 1/4/23 the elevator on the uptown east side has not worked for almost 3 months. The MTA still lists it as an accessible station but i have witnessed families with baby strollers, a gentleman with an electric wheelchair and the saddest was an elderly woman sitting down half way up the stairs literally crying because it was so painful to walk up the stairs.
I started seeing things in NYC that make me feel unsfae. Things are going down and it is better for someone to wake up.
We the security made sure the subways was always safe and secured. Met the famous twins
Beautiful looking station. Oddly only the uptown platform is wheelchair accessible. Cool orange tiles which mostly soundproof the station. There's also departure boards, free Wi-Fi, and phone service here too.
Cannot for the life of me find the entrance that goes downtown. The one across from the one going uptown is always closed.
Elevator only for uptown. If you use a wheelchair and need to go downtown, use the bus stop near the station in the cold
Excited for the new "W" line to start running. sad they removed the "Q"
