This station has a interesting yet convenient catwalk when moving between platforms. The window view over the street is also interesting as well. Both G and F train stop here. Connection to R underground. Sheltered platform. Two bridges leg are here good statically and visual….
I have to transfer through this train station everyday so I might be biased against it. However, the F and G platform is outside which is freezing in the winter and scorching in the summer. The R platform is dimly lit, dirty and depressing. And between each platform is about 100 stairs, on which, nearly every person has to take a break at some point even when they're in decent shape.
This station really needs an elevator or escalator to make the 80+ steps for transferring between the R and the F/G lines accessible to the elderly, disabled, etc.
Clean- hit or miss F train comes around every 10 to 15 mins note 2017 F train do not stop at this stop on the weekend due to construction. Also no elevator. Can use this stop to connect to the r train.
I've come back because their food is very good and healthy.
Gonna transfer F to R you gonna be outta breath. 3 levels then be like I'm on wrong side. So do it again. So unless you spider man it's tough
I swear I can hear the difference between the F and the G train approach so I know when I have to race up the steps. As far as subway stations go I'm pretty happy with this one. Connection to R underground. Sheltered platform. Two thumbs up.
Above ground station for the F and G trains. Not too shabby views on either platform -- NYC skyline on the Manhattan/Queens bound trains, and Statue of Liberty if you're Coney Island bound. There is a direct connection to the underground R train, but be prepared for some really mean stairs.
This station has a interesting yet convenient catwalk when moving between platforms. The window view over the street is also interesting as well. Both & stop here. More than . Convenient to get to in adjacent to the . Pretty sure it gets pack from this station to J st.
There are transfers to buses and 3 subway lines here. It could use some cleaning up as all subway station especially elevated stations and line. There is too much avian guano.
