MTA - Nevins St Subway Station

11th Street it just runs through Brooklyn this starts in downtown Brooklyn runs a little bit through Brooklyn of course this is part of Brooklyn if you come to brooklyn. VERY OFTEN I ALWAYS TRY AS A CONSUMER TO TAKE NEVINS STREET STATION ON FLATBUSH EXT FOR PASSENGER CONVENIENCE. IT IS WITHIN VERY FEW BLOCKS AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN SHOPPING AREA AND HAVE ACCESS ABOVE GROUND TO MANY SHOPPING INTEREST AND FAIRLY CLOSE. AT OPPOSITE SIDE FROM NEVINS STREET IS ATLANTIC/BARCLAY CENTER MTA SUBWAY ENTRANCE TRAIN STOP & THE OTHER END DEKALB AVENUE SUBWAY ENTRANCE STATION STOP. ALL SERVICES PROVIDED BY METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY MTA.

Seems a little cleaner but, stupidly, they. NY Department sOf Sanitation & Transit, increased ridership but decreased trash receptacles.

There's construction in the area so you need to adhere to the caution signs

It is very much impove I just hope it is for the best but I strongly recommend a trip to Junior's for breakfast lunch or dinner and there are a lot of hotels businesses,stores and cultural Brooklyn academy of Musicplaces in that area too

I gave this station a 3 out of 5 not for cleanliness but because of the awesome token booth clerk and subway worker who got my phone off of the tracks and gave it to me a few days after I lost it. In terms of cleanliness though this station like so many others can do better I have seen 2 rats at this station one of which was on the platform. This station is good however to transfer between the uptown/downtown 2,3,4 and 5 trains which can take you to most places in brooklyn, as well as the east and west sides of Manhatten.

Right now with this chicken sandwich craze they have the sandwiches prepared in which the crispness has been compromised and the mayo has melted. Yuck. They need to prepare the sandwiches per order because of the delicacy like the 14th street off 6th ave does. They have two people designated for the sandwiches so as the order is placed, it's freshly prepared. Not tossed in a bin, like 10 on top of one another. The sandwiches are not as good.

Nevins st. Is wonderful. Wonderful sights tall buildings wonderful eateries all around you. Transportation every where. Buses trains, bikes , etc.

Its a Train Station. Could use a brighter coat of paint and some electronic upgrades like Atlantic Ave

its just another underground, but its easy to transfer from 2/5 to 3/4 just by walking accros the platfoam... which was what i did today. i didnt entre from above. i didnt exit. i just did a simple transfer between numbered subway lines.
