Myung Dong Tofu Restaurant

Went there for dinner and you can tell they were understaffed. They had 1 person taking orders seating, serving food & drinks while handling takeout. But this didn’t detract from my experience! She was very nice and checked on us when she could. Food was good but looks like a limited menu at the time. I would like to come back when they are fully staffed and fully open

The food is authentic and fantastic. I recommend trying the combo with a BBQ entree + tofu soup or bibimbap + tofu soup. All the tofu soup options are the same price. I do agree with some reviews that the service is on the slow side perhaps due to understaff issue. We came here on a Sunday night around 6 pm. There was no wait but at least ten parties were dining in overall. We actually got our drinks and food fairly quickly, but the follow-up was on the slow side. However, this would not keep me from returning to the restaurant because the food quality is great.

It was a nice discovery. Great soon tofu, pork bulgogi, and bibimbbap. Grew up in LA where restaurants like this are a dime a dozen. Satisfies my cravings when nostalgia hits.

Very good tofu soup combo place, and one of my favorite place to go for lunch, however their service has been consistently poor, you need to be real patient as their eyes looking on the ground most of the time and they walking back with empty hands if you know what I mean that in restraint service. I would say they offer very decent food and fairly priced, just ignore the service attitudes

RACIST!!!!Came to dine in with wife . Lady said take out only so we decided to go elsewhere note: a Korean couple went in before us and they got the chance to dine in. As we were sitting in the car a mother and son Korean went in and they were walk over to a table That’s when we notice That they told us take out only because we were Hispanics. Very sad!!!!

Happy to find a place to get Korean tofu soup locally. Everything tasted good but I was disappointed they were out of oysters.Food: 4/5

Delicious, we had the spicy pork combo and the spicy pork rice bowl. So tasty!! Their mushroom soup is so good! Service was good.

We've been coming to Myungdong for years. The food is excellent, and we're very happy they're providing table service again. Some reviewers have criticized the wait staff, in my opinion unfairly. This is a small, independently owned restaurant. Having a little patience, and being polite in turn, goes a long way to enhance your experience.
