Oh my God so bad!!! Dr Yum - can't remember his name - was the worst!! He was keep yelling and yelling at me !! about my own condition- it was horrible! That's not how you treat a patient! He should be in jail!! The woman on the phone who was supposed to educate me about my diabetes sounds like she just woke up - no matter what time I called the number. She was rude as well.
Wonderful staff and customer service. Treated kindly. Caters to you care. Very beautiful facility.
We have been coming here for years. The staff is always polite and really care about their patients. Beyond helpful and knowledgeable.
Dr. Pajvani is unprofessional and has no problem being verbally abusive to patients. I will be contacting the New York State board of professionals and filing a complaint against him. If Dr. Pajvani has no compassion for patients perhaps he should work as a sanitation worker.
As a lifelong client of Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center, I can say the services that are provided now are the worst I have experienced in my entire life. This place was always proactive with the patients but now it seems they are simply cutting way too many corners and cutting into too much of my time to get nothing back for the services that I pay for. I'm severely disappointed with the help I've tried to receive.
This review is based on an experience with Dr. Williams. She has poor bedside manner and carries the “I am a doctor so I make the decision on your care and I know more than you” attitude. Highly arrogant. Patients inputs, questions and concerns should be taken into consideration as they are the one who make the decision on their care ultimately. I want to slowly cut my carb intake in half to lessen my consumption of insulin and apparently she knows more because she has a medical degree and teaches medicine. With all due respect, getting a medical degree does not make anyone an omniscient medical professional. There are still things the medical community has not figured out but science has. Some of people need to humble themselves.
Horrible care! The doctor could not care less about the patient! Communication is through messages which can take you whole day to get answer. Unfortunately, there is no quality healthcare these days anywhere you go.
I’m a little disappointed, every single experience I have had with NYP as a patient have been great. I just got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and had to wait a month to see a doctor, they send a small prescription for the lancets I ran out within 2 weeks and most recently the doctor told me to take a glucose test before and after each meal I ran out of test stripes because they send a prescription for a test 2 times a day. I haven’t been able to take my blood sugar for 3 days. Considering how dangerous diabetes can be, they should put a little more effort.
My son has been with this center since he was 13 months old. This center is like family!!! My son now is 12 years old!! The management that they provide is amazing!! They care about their patients.
The receptionists are nasty!! I didn't have a referral and they took me the last time i was there and made the appt for me Thwy smirked and aaid they wouldnt take me in and that people make miatakes. Disturbed nasty people.
