Napoli’s Italian Restaurant Bogalusa Louisiana

My sister and I had lunch there and it was fantastic. The portions were generous and I brought 1/2 of my meal home with me. The food was delicious and the service was great! We will definitely go back and bring our friends and family!

I have been to this place twice now. The first time they had just open up, and the food was ok I guess the red sauce tasted like it was premade from a can. And when it came to check out they tried to charge me for an extra plate. The second time I went in it was this past Friday. I said to my self it's been a couple of months let's see if it had changed or fix the kinks. I get my plate of food and mid way through my plate I bit into a stainless steel scrub pad piece. I showed my waitress she took it to the cook showed him replace my plate. I did not see boss or manager, to come and see about the complaint. And I asked for the check and the meal was not comped so I guess the waitress never told any body. I do not recommend this place at all you sit too close to people you can't have a private conversation food is overpriced and you don't have a great selection either.

The food was good with large portions. However, I asked for more parmigiano on my pasta, and they did not have any. Shaved or shredded would have made this dish pergect

Absolutly the best meal I have had in Bogalousa or surrounding area! The service was wonderful and the prices are the best! I recommend it to anyone wanting great food at a great price!

I am only giving it 4 stars because the service was a little off. Our server could not speak good English, nor understand it and she wasn't as attentive as she could have been. Food wise this was some of the best Italian Cuisine that I have had in this part of the world. I had the Chicken Marsala and it was fantastic, while my better 1/2 had the Chicken Fradiavolo and it too was fantastic... Based on quality and portion size, these entree's were a great value as were the Desserts... We ordered a slice of Italian Cream Cake and the only issue with it is that it would have been much better served at room temperature as opposed to chilled, but the flavor and portion size were both fine. We also ordered a serving of the Tiramisu and it was the WOW factor of the meal... We are in Angie Louisiana a couple of times a month and will be driving on over to Bogalusa just for the Tiramisu some afternoons, though we will also be planning on dining in and trying some of the other entree's... If you are anywhere near Bogalusa and want a Great Italian Meal, then by all means swing by Napoli's...
