My deck/bench, fence, and gates are all just as I had hoped! We encountered some delays some on my part, some on Narrow Leaf, but Tom and his crew were always professional and responsive. This was a big project, and although Narrow Leaf was not the lowest bid, I feel I got what I paid for. They were willing to discuss "tweaks" and to accommodate small changes around irrigation systems, hinges/locks and under deck access that arose during the demolition of the old and construction of the new. Doug even helped me dig up and preserve a favorite clematis that was in the way of demolition and Jesse was very careful with my cherry tree and shrubs! The beautiful craftsmanship of my front gate has been noted by neighbors and friends and with the cooler weather I am starting to enjoy sitting outside on the new deck. I look forward to entertaining in the courtyard, even this Fall and Winter. In these times of ongoing pandemic, labor and supply chain issues, I heartily recommend Tom, Doug and Jess for any wood project you might have. Top-notch!!

Narrow Leaf custom built and installed two finely crafted gates for the front and back of our wall-enclosed home. Tom and his team are true artisans, they did a fantastic job; the attention to detail and craftsmanship in these gates has us looking out our windows each day admiring the beauty. As an example of their attention to detail, where wood joints meet the joints are so perfectly aligned and sanded to perfection that you can't even feel a hint of an uneven 'lip' of two separate pieces of wood meeting. Tom provided us a thorough discussion during the wood selection and gate design process, and kept us updated while he built the gates. Installation was completed on a timely basis to our high satisfaction. These are not just gates, they're works of art. Highly recommending Narrow Leaf.

Tom and team are superb! They are super communicative. While there were minor delays due to pine supply, Tom was honest about the delay and shared updates along the way. I live out of state and Tom was wonderful to work with remotely by phone and email. If you are looking for custom gates, Narrowleaf should be your top choice! I’m the owner of Legacy Tree Co. My company is based in the same location as Tom- he’s our landlord. I know him well as a result. I and my 12 staff interact with he and his 3 employees on a daily basis. I can say with a profound degree of confidence that Tom is as good a craftsperson, wood worker and human being as anyone could hope to find. His work is beautiful. He takes extreme pride in ensuring all of it culminates in a product that could only be described as a work of art. It’s mind blowing to see this degree of care and craftsmanship nowadays. Recently we’ve been collaborating over the creation of new pieces: river tables and coffee tables and the like from exotic slabs we harvest from Albuquerque’s urban forest. It’s inspiring to see the passion with which he undertakes these and other projects. Tom’s an old school, no nonsense kind of guy. He’s polite, professional, honest and straightforward. He’s also incredibly generous and caring. I have nothing but good things to say about him from our experience the past two and half years at this location. Its nice to know there are still wood workers of his caliber in the modern age we live in where everyone orders from Amazon sun expects their product made abroad to arrive next day.

I searched for a quality, custom wooden gate maker and found Narrow Leaf woodwork. During my onsite consultation, Tom drew a custom gate based on multiple gayest I liked from their wide variety of photos on their website. I explained I needed a front gate quickly since my elderly parents were coming to stay with us and to prevent our husky from escaping. I appreciate Tom explaining how to maintain our gate and sending written instructions. I absolutely love my new gate! The craftsmanship was beyond my expectations and I definitely plan to have Tom repair some of my wooden furniture and create a screen/ doggie door for your backyard. Thank you!

We recently had a new gate custom-built by Narrow Leaf Woodworking. It was an amazingly easy process. Tom worked with us to design a custom gate and worked closely with us during the entire process. We were kept informed of the progress throughout the entire time that the gate was being built. It came out absolutely great, the workmanship was phenomenal, and the installation process was very perfect. We are very pleased with the new addition to our home.

Love my gate so much! From start to finish working with Narrow Leaf was great. Thomas got everything perfect. It started with a photo I showed him and my gate is exactly like it. Working with Tom was truly a joy. He is an absolutely amazing craftsman and he took the time to go over all of my options and wood choices for our screen door, along with taking my ideas and incorporating them into the design.
