I went through National for a car rental. Their cost were reasonable everywhere else is so expensive. A woman name Roxanne helped me through out the process of renting the vehicle. She was perfect! Super friendly , very nice and efficient. It only took a few minutes. They sent me to the parking garage after where I was able to pick my own car. Which was cool not having to stick to the basics. I loved everything about the experience especially the car. Sad to have to bring this beauty back. Brand new mustang, few miles. Beautiful inside and out. Very clean and rode smoothly. Thank you National, I’ll stick to you guys moving forward with any rental. Thank you Roxanne for the exceptional customer service!
Easy walk to the parking garage where the National Rental Counters are, but if you're National Emerald Club - I just walk out to the cars, pick out which one I want, and go. No delays, no lines, just get moving. This week I drove this awesome Lexus IS 350 AWD with the Mark Levinson audio - and it made for an awesome rental. Car was brand new, <100 miles on the odometer, and was truly enjoyable. Rental return was easy also, just drive up, and by the time I had my suitcase out of the trunk, my phone ding'd with the receipt from National. Perfect timing, no worries or delays. Covid is not longer an excuse and good to see National providing great service with cars that aren't the boring Chevy Impala lineup.
Probably the best customer service of National in USA and Canada. The person located in the parking lot where Executive members go is actually helping clients to decide on the type of cars they need. Very pleasant experience. National please use this location’s know-how to provide training to other airports.
If your car of choice is a 2017 Chevy Impala, you are in luck!! This National has a great selection of them, in approximately 3-4 different colors. If you're really lucky, you get a different interior color to really spice things up! Seriously though - this is, by far, the worst selection of cars in the Executive area I have ever experienced. Being an Executive Elite member, I admit I'm used to a bit more selection and service. This just doesn't exist in this location. The favorite part of my work travels is to drive a different car each time. Everytime I travel to MKE, I get to drive the same car. Am I over reacting? Perhaps. Nothing wrong with the service, nothing wrong with National as a whole. But it's really difficult to recommend this location when I place a large emphasis on selection.
Being an executive elite national rental customer I was extremely disappointed with the selection and customer service that this location provides. The location is owned by a local chevy dealer and they play by thier own rules. Not set by how the other nationwide nationals act. The selection is small, the service is slow, and they let anyone regardless of status choose from thier chevy car selection. When entering the lot you will be asked to check in with an employer at a booth which slows down the experience and then you are asked to sign a waiver when leaving.which at least 8 other national locations I have never experienced. With the hassle of all of this I will not be returning and will be canceling all of my future car rentals from this location.
I visited Milwaukee last week and before going through TSA I realized I left a possession in my rental car. About 15 minutes later I go back and inform the car return staff and they are nice enough to have the car brought back. By my surprise the bag I left in the seat is gone! I had to catch my flight and didn't have time to figure this out in person, so I called the 1800 number. Filed a claim and received an email notification that my possessions were found I'm back in Denver. Just to find out they want over $36 to ship my kids shirts I only payed $30 for! Very disappointed I would be charged at all when they were the ones that took my kids gifts out of the car in the first place when I made the attempt to get it back in person. My kids are also pretty bummed they didn't get their gifts.
I was able to drive a Mercedes GLC 300 with only 500 miles it with my executive status. Vehicles are very scare at some airports these days. Some weeks rentals are better than others depending where you are in the country and also the day of the week you pick up a vehicle.
Great service! Everyone is super nice in Milwaukee and there's always a nice choice of cars i the Emerald Aisle.
I’ve use national monthly for work over 6 years now, this is the worst National I’ve experienced nationwide! Do not go here. Prepare for poor service. The car I received had scratches all over it, when I returned it, they tried to say I damaged the car. They lost the damage slip I signed with my rental agreement. My gf was with me luckily the whole trip to vouch for me that we did not crash or damage vehicle. Seriously go elsewhere, this group is horrible, not worth your time.
The MKE Airport National Rental probably has the worst selection and car quality out of any National airport branch that I've used. The cars are never very clean, and they pretty much all have some sort of damage that needs to be noted before leaving. Emerald Aisle selection is pointless as it's usually just a couple CUVs and compacts as an option. The only redeeming quality is the fast checkout with Emerald Club.
