Native Roots Market

We popped in for a few snacks and drinks to keep in our hotel room. This place is exactly what we were hoping for. We found beer, soda, chips, water and ice cream. The selection is pretty good for such a small store. Prices aren't great, but they certainly aren't crazy expensive like some small shops in tourist areas.

I’m not sure what people are raving about. There were very few local produce products that we saw. The blueberries we ended up buying said they were a product of Chile. The rest of the stuff there you could get at Walmart or another grocery store and not to mention, for cheaper. We saw a sign for local cuts of meat but saw no meat and when we were back by the deli the lady only asked us if we wanted a sandwich made. Maybe they did have local meats, but they weren’t on display. In either case, the produce section was small, over priced and not very local for the most part. The only way I’d shop here is if I lived in the apartments above and had forgotten something from a normal grocery trip.

Do not know what I would do without this place. One of the few natural and organic places in downtown okc. Great staff and decently priced. And don't forget your Keep it Local card.

A wide selection bit a little more pricey than normal. Worth the convenience most of the time.
