Reviews
Until today I have never written a review but this is one I should have written 1.5 years ago. I will never step foot in this store again. If I could give it negative five stars I would. I was treated so rudely like a second class citizen and kicked out for not wearing a mask while I had an exception. When I started to explain my situation the two employees berated me and the young girl insinuated I could be lying. Those two were power tripping and bullying me and that isn’t how I would ever treat my customers. The story goes on but not worth my time rehashing it. It was very upsetting and I much rather spend my money at Natural Grocers when I come visit KC where I have always been treated with the upmost respect. Shame on all of you.
A hidden gem in Westport. Awesome, fresh selection of healthy food at reasonable prices. I got sick of chain stores being out of Oat Milk. Going to shop here now. Lol the staff has been really fun and kind to interact with.
I bought a container of yogurt that was spoiled. The general manager made it right. So glad we have a Natural food store in midtown!
This is a nice small health food store. I only found it because we were eating at a restaurant next door, but I return almost weekly now. The staff is friendly and the prices are decent. The produce looked nice and was priced around what whole foods is pricing organic produce. They have amazing sale prices on some of their products!
always friendly staff, easy to find items I need, locally sourced items a plus. Organic and healthy items. Glad its in the neighborhood. Plenty of parking.
Love this place! I get around half of my weekly groceries here. I mostly go for their produce, which is usually local. A decent bulk section too!
Just love the small local grocery store and love the staff here. This is a great place that's not a far walk from the Kansas City Wesport hotels where one can find healthy vegetarian and vegan food options to keep in their mini fridge.
I have loved this place since it has been on 43rd street. Their sales can be really good, and on some items they beat Sunfresh prices. On good days their produce can be top notch. I love the local arugula that they sell. Great service. They sell bulk teas legumes, dried fruit, and grains, which is not common in this city.
I think it's a perfect size for a small bodega with specialty needs. It really is perfect for this area. SO MANY vegan dairy substitutes! Now I can shop for my needs without having to drive 30 minutes to Leawood. So grateful for this place! I will say that it's a little pricey, but hey, such is the cost of supporting small businesses.
Edit: a month later we haven't had that issue again, switched to 5 star review that they deserve. We come here often and spend our hard earned money. They are usually very nice. My fiance and I work late so we had to show up 5 minutes til close just to grab broccoli and a cucumber really quick. It took 2 minutes maximum. The man who closed Saturday, April 25 had locked the doors 5 minutes prior to close, which I understand; he wanted to go home. But he was extremely rude to my fiance. They do not close until 9 and yes we showed up 5 til close, but it was for a very quick grab of veggies for dinner since everywhere else is already closed. That man was very rude and did not make her want to return there, when usually the employees are great. I'm sorry if he had a bad day, but we work in the customer service industry as well. Other than that experience, they would get a 5 star rating.
